•    Junior Anthony Taslakov came in first in the 200 free and 500 free, sophomore Thomas Ambelang won the 200 back and classmate William Iglar finished first in the 200 breaststroke and added a second-place result in the 200 IM for the Babson men.

ABOUT THE BABSON WOMEN
•    The Beavers (6-4-1) won five events in a 168-109 loss to Wellesley last Saturday.
•    Turhan touched the wall first in both the 200 butterfly (2:12.72) and 100 butterfly (59.30), Racicot posted a time of 24.95 to finish first in the 50 free, Netishen claimed the 100 free in a time of 54.35 and first-year Middy Hinckley won the 500 free in a time of 5:27.94.

•    Turhan currently owns top-10 times in the NEWMAC in both the 100 butterfly (57.91) and 200 butterfly (2:06.72), which Gilbert's top mark of 1:03.33 in the 100 IM is tied for ninth in the conference.

ABOUT THE BABSON MEN
•    The Beavers (7-1) won nine of 13 events on the way to defeating Bridgewater State, 145-85, back on January 24.
•    Junior David Krol came in first on both the 1-meter (312.75) and 3-meter (319.20) diving boards to lead six individual winners for the Green and White.

HISTORY LESSON
•    A victory over Springfield for the Babson men on Saturday would give them their highest dual-meet winning percentage since the 1972-73 squad finished 13-1 (.929).
•    A win would also mark just the fourth time the Beavers have finished with a dual-meet winning percentage above .800 in program history joining the 1972-73, 1989-90 (10-2, .833) and 2019-20 (10-2, .833) squads.
•    The Babson women, who have recorded at least six wins in seven consecutive seasons going back to 2018-19, can reach seven victories for just the ninth time in the 38-year history of the program by beating the Pride on Saturday.

MOVING ON UP
•    Gilbert improved her best time and now ranks 10th on the top performers list in the 1000 free with a mark of 11:37.10 against Bridgewater State on January 24.
•    Hinckley moved up to eighth with her time of 11:23.57 in the 1000 free last Saturday at Wellesley.
•    Taslakov is now seventh on the men's 1000 free list with his time of 10:06.43 against Bridgewater State.

UP NEXT
•    The Beavers will travel to MIT for the four-day NEWMAC Championships beginning on Thursday, February 19.
