WELLESLEY, Mass.— Sophomore
Tuana Turhan (Lake Forest, Ill.) captured a pair of first-place finishes and Babson College produced five victories overall but fell to crosstown rival Wellesley College, 168-109, in a women's swimming and diving meet Saturday afternoon inside Chandler Pool.
With the loss, the Beavers slide to 6-4-1 overall with one dual meet remaining. Wellesley won its eighth straight dual meet and winds up its regular season at 12-1 overall.
Turhan touched the wall first in the 200 butterfly in 2:12.72, and later was the winner of the 100 fly in 59.30 seconds. She also took second place in the 200 IM in a season-best 2:14.46. First-year
Finn Bergquist (Marblehead, Mass.) finished second in the 200 fly in a personal best time of 2:22.83, and sophomore
Samantha Gilbert (Arlington, Va.) was third in the 100 fly in 1:02.48.
Also winning events for the Beavers were junior
Sylvie Racicot (Arlington, Mass.) in the 50 free in a time of 24.95 seconds, and first-year
Middy Hinckley (Trent Woods, N.C.) in the 500 free in 5:27.94. Sophomore
Julia Netishen (Exeter, N.H.) and Racicot finished 1-2 in the 100 free in times of 54.35 and 54.85, respectively.
Babson had additional runner-up finishes in several events, including both relays. Hinckley finished second in the 1000 free in a personal-best time of 11:23.57, which ranks her eighth on the program's list of all-time top performers, and Gilbert was second in the 100 breaststroke in a career-best 1:12.18.
The Babson contingent of Netishen, Gilbert, Turhan and Racicot were runner-up in the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:51.12, and the group of first-year

AJ Hallbert (Enterprise, Ala.) in the 200 breast in a season-best time of 2:44.79.
Babson will compete in its final dual meet of the season at Springfield next Saturday at 11 a.m.
