MARLBOROUGH, Mass.— For the second straight week, Babson College senior Timmy O'Toole (Milton, Mass.) was named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.

A 6'5" forward, O'Toole recorded one double-double and totaled 22 rebounds, seven steals and two blocked shots while averaging 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals as Babson won two of three games. The senior forward contributed four boards, one steal and one block in just 15 minutes of a lopsided win at MIT on Tuesday, and posted his fourth double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds) to go along with three steals and one block in Thursday's 89-74 win over Salve Regina. O'Toole concluded the week with eight rebounds and three steals in the Beavers' 78-72 loss at WPI.

A starter in all 18 games this season, O'Toole leads the NEWMAC with 9.0 rebounds per game and ranks fifth with 1.5 steals per game and eighth with 0.8 blocked shots per game. He also averages 10.3 points per game while shooting 58.4 percent from the field, tops on the team.

Babson (12-6, 6-3 NEWMAC) travels to Clark on Saturday for a 4 p.m. conference tip-off inside the Kneller Center.
