BABSON PARK, Mass.—The Babson College men's and women's swimming & diving was recognized for its success in the classroom with College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team honors on Wednesday.
Under the direction of fourth-year head coach
Eric Thurston, the Beavers were among 709 teams recognized by the CSCAA for their academic achievements during the fall 2025 semester. The Babson women ended the term with a 3.36 grade-point average while the men's squad finished with a 3.25 GPA. Both teams garnered CSCAA Scholar All-America accolades for the 17th consecutive semester going back to 2017.
For a team to be considered, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
The Babson men (6-1) and women (5-3-1) will host Bridgewater State in their regular season home finale on Saturday at 11 a.m. Saturday inside Morse Pool before concluding their dual meet schedule at Wellesley on January 31 and at Springfield on February 7. The four-day NEWMAC Championships will begin on Thursday, February 19 at MIT in Cambridge.
