On September 6th, Babson College men's and women's swimming & diving participated in the Swim Across America charity swim in Rhode Island and raised over $3,500 for gynecological and breast cancer research at the Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. The Swim Across America (SAA) mission is to award grants to innovative cancer research, clinical trials, detection, and patient programs through charity swims that unite communities in the fight against cancer. 

We spoke to seniors Jenny Chung and Vangella Randell about the team's experience, fundraising efforts, and what it means for the program to be able to support this cause.
