Women's Swimming & Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honors

BABSON PARK, Mass.—The Babson College women's swimming & diving team was recognized for its success in the classroom with College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team honors on Wednesday.

Under the direction of third-year head coach Eric Thurston, the Beavers were among 763 teams from 432 institutions honored by the CSCAA for their academic achievements during the 2025 spring semester. Babson finished the term with a 3.48 team grade-point average and has now earned CSCAA Scholar All-America team accolades in 16 consecutive semesters going back to 2017.

For a team to be considered, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.

The Beavers went 8-5 in dual meets recording their highest winning percentage (.615) since 2019-20 before coming in seventh at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships back in February.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
