SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 6 Babson (4-1, 0-0 NEWMAC) suffered its first loss of the season on Sunday in a 5-1 setback at No. 1 Middlebury.

SCOUTING THE JUMBOS
• No. 7 Tufts (3-1, 1-1 NESCAC) is coming off a strong 8-0 shutout at Colby on Saturday in Waterville, Maine.
• Biccard scored five goals to tie the program record for goals in a game for the Jumbos, who led 5-0 at halftime. Junior Claire Casey added a goal and an assist, and first-years Eleanor Helm and Scarlette Carpenter added one goal apiece. Junior Isabel Ginns made three second-half saves after replacing Eastburn, who was not needed to make any stops in the opening 30 minutes.
• Biccard (5-0-10) leads the team and ranks eighth in Division III in goals per game. Casey (2-1-5) and Helm (2-1-5) share second place on the team in scoring and sophomore Hannah Murray (0-2-2) tops the squad in assists.
• Tufts finished 19-3 last season after advancing to the Division III national championship game. The Jumbos won the title in 2012 and finished runner-up four times (2008, 2016, 2018, 2024).
HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE
• Babson is 27-1 at MacDowell Field since the beginning of the 2023 season and has won 51 of its last 56 home games since 2021.
• Eight of the last 13 wins and 16 of the last 27 home victories have come by way of the shutout.

BEAVERS VS. THE NESCAC
• Wednesday's match-up is the third of five Babson games this season vs. teams from the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC).
