MARLBOROUGH, Mass.—Babson College senior James Modiano ((Montclair, N.J.) was tabbed the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.

A starter in four of his six appearances this season, Modiano scored in a pair of victories as No. 10 Babson extended its unbeaten streak to 17 with results in three road matches. He scored an 89th-minute insurance marker in Tuesday's 3-1 triumph at Gordon and produced the only goal of the game in the 61st minute on Sunday to help the Beavers wrap up a two-game trip to Atlanta with a 1-0 win over Oglethorpe.

A four-year veteran with 11 starts in his 51 career matches, Modiano is fourth on the team in scoring this season with two scores and has four goals and four assists for 12 points to his name in his career.

Babson (4-0-2) is back on the road this Wednesday with a trip to Roger Williams for a 6 p.m. match.
