SERIES HISTORY
• The Beavers are 1-13 all-time against Middlebury in a series that dates back to 1996, with seven of the losses coming by just one goal.
• Babson has dropped the last eight encounters, including a 2-1 setback at McDowel Field last season, and is 0-5 all-time at Middlebury with three one-goal losses.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 3 Babson (4-0, 0-0 NEWMAC) remained undefeated on the season with a 5-0 whitewash of Saint Joseph's (Maine) on Wednesday in Standish, Maine.

• DiGiovanni (5-0-10) has scored at least one goal in all four games this season, and sophomore
Penny Baroni (4-2-10) has two game-winners and a pair of multi-point outings. Michelotti (1-1-3) and Roe (1-1-3) are tied for third on the team in scoring.
• Tibbals (0.64 GAA, .867 sv. pct) has allowed just two goals in her first three career starts, making 13 saves and earning her first shutout.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
• Middlebury (4-0, 2-0 GNAC) remained undefeated on the season with a 1-0 overtime victory over Trinity on Saturday in Hartford, Conn.
• First-year Addie Chandler scored the game-winner 4:47 into the extra session, with an assist from junior Claire McMichael. Redzic was not forced to make a save as the Panthers outshot the Bantams 18-2.
• Junior Megan Fuqua (4-1-9) leads the team in scoring while Chandler (3-1-7) and junior Shawna Ferraro (3-0-6) have three goals each. Senior Ellie Harrison (1-2-4) is an offensive threat and McMichael (0-3-3) leads the team in assists. Redzic (0.26 GAA) has allowed just one goal in four starts with eight saves and two shutouts.
• Middlebury has captured the last seven NCAA Division III championships, posting a 147-7 record in that span with unbeaten seasons in 2021 and 2023.
BEAVERS VS. THE NESCAC
• Sunday's match-up is the second of five Babson games this season vs. teams from the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC).
• The Beavers defeated No. 4 Williams last Sunday (2-1 OT) and will also face No. 7 Tufts on September 17, Trinity of September 28, and No. 19 Bowdoin on October 14.
• The Green and White are 4-4 against the NESCAC since the beginning of last season and are 18-10 versus the conference going back to 2021.
ONE-GOAL GAMES
• Three of Babson's four wins this season have been decided by just one goal.
• The Beavers were 3-3 in one-goal games last season and are 21-7 in contests decided by one score over the past five seasons.
NEWMAC WEEKLY HONOR
• First-year
Anna Bonazzoli was named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Field Hockey Defensive Athlete of the Week Tuesday afternoon.
• The Beaver rookie capped an emotional week in the win over Williams. The first-year center back played all 67 minutes and keyed the Beavers' defensive effort that held the Ephs to a season-low four shots on goal.
BEAVER BITES
• DiGiovanni recorded her 11th career multi-goal game in Wednesday's win at St. Joe's (Maine).
• The Green and White have won their last seven road games dating back to last September.
• Since 2019, the Beavers are 36-10 in the month of September with half of those losses coming against top-ranked Middlebury.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• Babson has won 36 games in a row since 2023 when scoring at least two goals.
• The Green and White has won 78 of the 80 games since 2021 after scoring the first goal of the game.
