Men's Lacrosse Trio Earns USILA Postseason Honors

Clark and Fascilla Named USILA All-America Honorable Mention; Clark and Maher Chosen for Friday's North-South Senior All-Star Game

BABSON PARK, Mass.—Three members of the Babson College men's lacrosse program were recognized when the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its All-America and North-South Senior All-Star teams on Thursday afternoon.

Graduate student Tripp Clark (Byfield, Mass.) and senior Alex Fascilla (Huntington, N.Y.) both earned All-America honorable mention honors, while Clark and senior Brendan Maher (Melrose, Mass.) have been selected to play in the Division III North-South Senior All-Star game. The contest will be held on Friday at 4 p.m. at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I.

Clark, who transferred to Babson from St. Lawrence University, earned USILA All-America laurels for the second year in a row after being named to the first team in 2024. He started 17 games this spring for the Beavers, collecting a career-high 69 ground balls to go along with a team-best 32 caused turnovers to go along with four goals and two assists for six points.

Clark recorded three or more caused turnovers seven times and scooped up at least six ground ball on six occasions, and was at his best in the postseason picking up 24 ground balls while adding 12 caused turnovers in four games as the Green and White captured its third straight New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) championship before advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

A two-time USA Lacrosse Magazine All-America and two-time all-conference selection, Clark totaled 212 ground balls and 108 caused turnovers in four seasons with the Saints and one at Babson while starting 82 of 83 career games.

Fascilla earned USILA All-America honorable mention accolades for the second consecutive season after going 13-6 with a career-best 9.12 goals against average and a .564 save percentage while making 207 total saves in 20 starts. He ranked 34th in Division III in goals against average and 38th nationally in save percentage, and made at least 10 saves in 14 contests while giving up double-digit goals on just six occasions.

Additionally, Fascilla's 13 wins match the single-season program record set by Will Parducci '23 back in 2023. His 207 saves this spring also rank seventh in the single-season chart.

The 2024 NEWMAC Defensive Player of the Year, two-time USA Lacrosse Magazine and two-time all-conference first-team selection, Fascilla went 25-10 with a 9.45 goals against average and a .577 in 43 career games. He ranks fourth in program history in wins, sixth in both goals against average (9.45) and save percentage (.577), and eighth with 430 saves.

Maher, who earned a USA Lacrosse Magazine All-America honorable mention for the second year in a row last week,  started all 20 games and set new career highs with 48 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers this spring. He collected at least three ground balls eight times and had multiple forced turnovers in six contests while helping Babson finish first in the conference in scoring defense and 10th nationally in clearing percentage (.896).

A four-time All-NEWMAC honoree and 2024 IMLCA and NEILA All-Region selection, Maher started all 75 games at Babson over the last four seasons and ranks sixth in program history with 79 caused turnovers and 12th all-time with 165 ground balls.

Babson finished the 2025 campaign with an overall record of 14-6 after capturing its third straight NEWMAC Tournament championship and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
