BABSON PARK, Mass.—Coming off a third straight appearance in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament, 15th-year Babson College women's lacrosse head coach
Michelle Smith released her program's 2026 schedule on Monday afternoon.
In addition to its 10-game New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) schedule, the Green and White will face a challenging six-game non-conference slate, including a pair of teams that joined Babson in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The Beavers, who advanced to the NEWMAC title game for the ninth straight season last spring, begin the year with a trip to West Palm Beach, Fla., to take on Saint Lawrence on February 21.
Babson will play a pair of non-conference home games in late February and early March, welcoming Framingham State to MacDowell Field on February 28 and Skidmore on March 10. The Green and White open the NEWMAC slate at Coast Guard on March 14.
The Beavers will travel to New Jersey during spring break to take on the College of New Jersey, an NCAA Tournament second-round participant last spring, on March 18. The team will begin a four-game homestand with back-to-back conference home encounters against Wellesley on March 25 and Smith on March 28 before the annual test against defending national champion Middlebury on March 29.
After a NEWMAC match-up against Emerson to start the month of April, Babson will play three additional league foes, at Springfield on April 4, home vs. Clark on April 8, and at defending conference champion MIT on April 11.
After hosting a final non-conference game against Bowdoin on April 14, the Beavers wrap up the regular season with three NEWMAC tilts, at home against Salve Regina on April 15 and Mount Holyoke on April 18 and visiting Wheaton for the finale on April 22.
The seven-team NEWMAC Tournament gets underway with quarterfinal contests on April 25 with the semifinals set for April 29 at the top two seeds. The championship game will be played at the highest remaining seed on May 2, with the winner receiving the conference's automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Championships.
