WHAT TO KNOW
• The Babson men's and women's swimming & diving teams travel to Worcester, Mass., for a pair of meets on Friday and Saturday.
• The Beavers will compete against the host Engineers, Brandeis, Coast Guard and Smith on Friday at WPI before traveling across town for a dual meet with Clark on Saturday afternoon.
SERIES NOTES
vs. Brandeis
• The Babson men are 13-11 versus the Judges dating back to 1997 and have won six consecutive meets in the series.
• The Babson women own four victories over Brandeis since 2013, which includes wins in 2019, 2023 and 2024.
vs. Coast Guard
• The Beavers and Bears have competed in all but three seasons (2011, 2014, 2020) going back to 2000.
• The Babson men last defeated Coast Guard back in 2001.
vs. Smith
• The Beavers have won four consecutive matchups with the Bears since 2019 on the heels of a five-meet losing streak to Smith from 2014-18.
vs. WPI
• The Babson men are 12-14 all-time against the Engineers and recorded their first win in the series since 2012 back in 2022. The Beavers have suffered closes losses to WPI in each of the last two seasons.
• The Babson women are 11-16 against WPI dating back to 1997.
vs. Clark
• The Babson women have won five straight dual meets against the Cougars going back to 2018, while the men boast a 15-meet winning streak and have gone 20-7 versus Clark since 1998.

ABOUT THE BABSON MEN
• The Beavers captured 13 of 14 events and defeated Roger Williams, 177-85, to open the season back on October 18.
• First-year
Matthias McFarlane touched the wall first in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 100 butterfly, while sophomores
William Iglar (100 free, 1000 free) and
Nehemiah Rhee (200 butterfly, 200 IM), and first-year
Evan Hong (200 free, 500 free) all recorded multiple victories for the Green and White.
• Junior
Anthony Taslakov came in first in the 200 backstroke and sophomore
Thomas Ambelang won the 100 backstroke.
• Babson returns 19 competitors from a team that went 7-3 in dual meets, set 12 school records and placed fourth at the NEWMAC Championships.
ABOUT THE BABSON WOMEN
• The Green and White came in first in 10 of 14 events on the way to defeating Roger Williams, 139.5-114.5, in the season opener for both teams back on October 18.

Samantha Gilbert won the 200 free and 500 free, classmate
Tuana Turhan touched the wall first in the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly, and the duo teamed with junior
Sylvie Racicot and sophomore
Hailey Cronan to capture the 200 free relay.
• Sophomores
Marta Gershanok came in first in the 100 backstroke,
Julia Netishen produced a victory in the 50 free and a pair of runner-up finishes in the 200 free and 200 back, and first-years
Middy Hinckley (1000 free) and
Becky Hwang (200 back) each claimed a first-place finish in their collegiate debut.
• The Beavers return 11 competitors from last year's squad that established six new school records and went 8-5 in dual meets before placing seventh at the NEWMAC Championships.
RETURNING RECORD HOLDERS
• Seven returning veterans on the men's team and four on the women's squad helped the Beavers set a combined 18 school records last winter.
• On the men's side, Taslakov set new individual records in the 200 free, 200 IM and 200 back while pairing with Iglar and sophomores
Liam Maloney and
Tommy Hannenian to set another record in the 800 free relay.
• Ambelang and sophomore
Nathan Huynh were also a part of Babson's record-setting 200 medley relay squad at last February's conference meet, while junior
David Krol set new six-dive records on both the 1- and 3-meter boards.
• Turhan set a new program record in the 100 butterfly and was part of a record-setting performance in the 400 medley relay, while Netishen became the new school-record holder in the 50 free and three relays (200 free, 400 free, 400 medley).
• Racicot joined Netishen on the 200 free, 400 free and 400 medley relay squads, while Gilbert was a part of Babson's new program mark in the 400 free relay.

• The Babson women will host Stonehill on November 7 at 5 p.m., while both squads welcome Bentley to Morse Pool at 6 p.m. on November 15.
