SERIES HISTORY
• The Beavers are 4-10 all-time against the Polar Bears in a series that dates back to 1985.
• The two sides have played only twice since 2001, a Bowdoin win in the NCAA Tournament in 2010 and last year's encounter in Brunswick, Maine.
• The Green and White are 1-4 against Bowdoin in Babson Park, including an 11-0 loss in the first game between the two programs in 1985. Saturday's game will be the first at MacDowell Field between the sides since a 2-0 Bowdoin win in 2000.

Berit Sharrow '25 tallied a goal and an assist as No. 7 Babson rallied with three goals in a five-minute span in the fourth quarter to pull out a 3-1 victory over Bowdoin on October 9, 2024, at Ryan Field in Brunswick.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 6 Babson (12-1, 5-0 NEWMAC) extended its winning streak to eight games and its shutout streak to three with a 3-0 verdict over Smith on Saturday in Northampton, Mass.

Laney Reed (3-0-6) all have three goals apiece, and junior
Grace Mullaney (1-4-6) is tied for the team lead in assists.
• Tibbals (1.04 GAA, .787 sv. pct., 48 saves) has started 12 straight games between the pipes and allowed one goal or fewer 10 times.
SCOUTING THE POLAR BEARS
• No. 8 Bowdoin (9-2, 5-2 NESCAC) has won its last four games, including a shootout victory over No. 1 Middlebury on October 4 and a 1-0 shutout over Trinity at home on Saturday.
• Sophomore Hannah Balmelli scored the game-winning goal after a penalty corner just two minutes into the first quarter, with an assist from junior Emily Ferguson. The Polar Bears withstood a strong Trinity comeback attempt in the second half, as the Bantams pulled their goalie in the final five minutes and went up two field players after a Bowdoin card.
• Ferguson (9-9-27) ranks sixth in Division III in assists per game, and Balmelli (7-1-15) and Bommer (6-1-13) are strong offensive threats as well while junior Maddie Mrva (3-5-11) is second on the team in assists.
• O'Donald (1.14 GAA, .803 sv. pct, 49 saves) has started all 11 games in goal for the Polar Bears, posting a pair of shutouts.
HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE
• Babson is 6-0 at home this season and has won nine in a row at MacDowell Field dating back to last year.
• The Beavers are 31-1 on home turf since the beginning of the 2023 season and have won 55 of its last 60 home games since 2021.
• Ten of the last 17 wins and 18 of the last 31 home victories have come by way of the shutout.
