WHAT TO KNOW
• The Babson men's and women's track & field teams travel to Cambridge for MIT's Sean Collier Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

Anthony Rodriguez will take part in Distance Night on Friday, while the rest of the Beavers are set to compete on Saturday.
2023 SEAN COLLIER INVITATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
• Senior
Eric Bottern broke an 18-year old school record with his throw of 140-feet, 1-inch in the discus and
Thomas Croissant '23 established a new program mark in the pole vault (12-feet, 7.5-inches) in last year's meet at MIT.
• Bottern also finished second in the shot put and seventh in the hammer for the Babson men, junior
Harrison Prucher was the runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles and classmate
Jack Reynolds placed fourth in the high jump.
• Junior
Angela Hagstrom came in second in 200 meters (26.32) and fifth in the 400 meters (1:01.01). sophomore
Brooke Jankowski finished third in the 100-meter hurdles and Nicole Johns '23 took fourth place in the 5000 meters.
• The quartet of Hagstrom, Jaworski, sophomore
Robyn Wilkes and Caroline Reilly '23 also helped the Babson women finish first in the 4x100-meter relay.
ABOUT THE BABSON MEN
• The Beavers set a pair of school records and recorded six top-five results to finish sixth at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College last Friday and Saturday.
• Bottern won the shot put with a season-best throw of 55-feet and broke his own school record with a mark of 162-feet, 8-inches to place third in the hammer, senior
Demarre Johnson posted a time of 22.71 to come in fourth in the 200 meters and first-year
Nicolas Kube added a fourth-place showing with his throw of 171-feet, 2-inches in the javelin.
• Junior
Julian Ivarra came in fifth in the 5000 meters (15:12.53) and Rodriguez traveled to Bucknell and broke his own program record in the 5000 meters with a time of 14:31.92 that helped him place among Division III competitors and 16th overall.
• Sophomore
Max Gregoire recorded his top time of the year in the 800 meters (1:57.60),
Harrison Prucher posted his best result of the spring in the 110-meter hurdles (16.22) and first-year
Almond Nickerson IV finished the 3000-meter steeplechase in a career-best time of 10:09.61 at the Silfen Invitational.
ABOUT THE BABSON WOMEN
• Hagstrom came in first in the 400-meter hurdles and the Beavers recorded six top-10 finishes to place 10th overall at last weekend's Silfen Invitational.
• Hagstrom posted a time of 1:06.43 and first-year
Colleen Corman came in seventh with a time of 1:12.40 in the 400 hurdles, while sophomore
Trista Sicard finished fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 34-feet, 9-inches.

Julia Pike finished seventh in the 100-meter hurdles (17.01), classmate
Chloe Clifford was seventh in the 800 meters (2:24.15) and fellow sophomore
Ashna Krishnamurthy placed ninth in the long jump 15-feet, 11.50-inches).
• Babson's 4x100-meer relay team of Hagstrom, Wilkes, Krishnamurthy and first-year
Reese Gallant came in second with a time of 50.40 to qualify for the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
BOTTERN EARNS CONFERENCE RECOGNITION
• Thanks to his first-place finish in the shot put, third-place showing in the hammer and sixth-place result in the discus, Bottern was tabbed as the NEWMAC Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
• His throw of 55-feet in the shot put currently ranks first in the conference and sixth in Division III, and his marks in the discus (135-feet, 8-inches) and hammer (162-feet, 9-inches) rank second and third, respectively, in the league.
TOP MARKS
• First-year
Chris McDonough, who did not complete last weekend, ranks first in New England and 12th in Division III with his time of 10.54 in the 100-meter dash achieved at the Raleigh Relays back on March 28.
• McDonough also ranks sixth in the 200 meters (21.83), Rodriguez is fifth in the region in the 5000 meters (14:31.92) and Ivarra ranks 10th in New England in the 10,000 meters with a top time of 31:31.22.
• Hagstrom currently ranks eighth in the region in the women's 400 hurdles with a time of 1:05.19.
RECORD SETTERS
• The Beavers have set new school records in five events this spring.
• In addition to the new marks set by Bottern (hammer) and Rodriguez (5000 meters) last Saturday, McDonough has established new program standards in both the men's 100 meters (10.54) and 200 meters (21.83), while Wilkes posted a new record in the women's 200 meters (26.04) at the Ross & Sharon Irwin Collegiate Meet back on March 16.
