SERIES HISTORY

•    First meeting 

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    Babson (1-1) is coming off an 18-5 loss to No. 1 Middlebury last Sunday at home. 
•    Graduate student Lily Ives scored twice, junior Clare Connolly recorded a goal and an assist to go along with a game-high six draw controls and classmate Kathleen Murphy made 13 saves for the Beavers, who converted 3-of-6 free-position chances. 
•    Ives (9-2-11) recorded seven points in Babson's season-opening win over Framingham State, junior Amelia Novitch (5-2-7) was held to just one shot in the loss to Middlebury, and Connolly (4-1-5) leads the team with 11 draw controls over the first two games. 
•    Senior Zoë Michaud leads the Green and White with four caused turnovers, while senior Eileen Manning has contributed seven ground balls and two forced turnovers in front of Murphy, who has posted a 13.00 goals against average and a .447 save percentage in two starts. 

SCOUTING THE MAROONS
•    No. 17 Chicago (1-0), which hosts No. 24 Denison on Saturday, opened the season with a 26-3 rout of Lake Forest back on February 24. 
•    Lulu Hardy finished with six goals and two assists, Jill Hooey contributed six goals, eight ground balls, six draw controls and four caused turnovers, and Skylar Lienhardt totaled five assists and six points for the Maroons, who scored 11 first-quarter goals. 
•    Hardy finished with team highs of 69 goals and 87 points and is one of six players that produced at least 35 points back from a squad that went 16-3 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season. 
•    Sophie Lynn and Kali Konstantinakos both finished with 25 caused turnovers in 2023, and Rachel Keefe, who made nine saves in the opener against Lake Forest, posted a 6.67 goals against average and a .550 save percentage in 19 games last spring. 

STREAKING BEAVERS
•    Ives, who transferred to Babson following a successful four-year career at Trinity, has at least one goal in 43 consecutive games going back to March 27, 2021. 
•    Connolly and junior Jessica Evans have both scored in eight consecutive games dating back to last spring, while junior Kathryn Blake has a goal in her last three outings. 
•   Manning has recorded at least one caused turnover in four straight games and 10 of the Beavers' last 11 contests dating back to April of last season.
•    Murphy has stopped at least six shots in six consecutive game going back to last year's NEWMAC Tournament. 

MOVING UP THE CHARTS
•    Connolly, who recorded a school-record 228 draw controls last spring, is up to 322 for her career and is now just 32 away from matching Babson's all-time record of 354 held by Trisha Babson '12.
•    With her 13 saves against Middlebury, Murphy passed Cricket Fligor '21 for eighth on the Beavers' career list with 304 saves. 

FACING RANKED FOES
•    Sunday's matchup with Chicago in the Windy City is the second of five games against teams currently ranked in the IWLCA Top 25. 
•    In addition to last week's loss to No. 1 Middlebury, the Beavers host No. 13 Trinity on March 24 and travel to 21st-ranked MIT on April 10 and No. 18 Amherst on April 14. 
•    Last year's 13-10 win over then-22nd-ranked MIT in the NEWMAC Tournament final was the Beavers' first over a ranked opponent since dominating then-16th-ranked Bates 17-6 on March 6, 2019. 

NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    Babson is 14-7 away from home over the last two seasons.
•    The Beavers have gone 56-3 since 2018 when scoring at least 12 goals.
•    The Green and White has won 37 of its last 38 games when allowing 10 goals or fewer.
•    Babson is 18-2 since the start of the 2022 campaign when scoring four or more free-position goals.
