• After playing back-to-back road games, Babson returns home to face Smith in a NEWMAC contest on Saturday before hosting No. 13 Trinity in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon at MacDowell Field.

• Babson is 26-13 all-time against the Pioneers in a series that dates back to 1987.
• The Beavers have won 20 consecutive games against Smith going back to 2001 by an average of more than 11 goals per game.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
• Smith (4-4, 1-0 NEWMAC ) had its two-game winning streak snapped in a 10-7 loss to Nazareth last Sunday.
• Tschider scored four times and Jennie Arancio contributed four ground balls, three caused turnovers and two draw controls for the Pioneers, who finished with a 29-20 edge in shots on goal in the loss.
• Tschider (12-9-21) leads team in assists and has scored three free-position goals, Kyra Hawk (15-5-20) has produced four multi-goal games and Caroline Sanders (13-7-20) leads the team with 32 ground balls.
• Jennie Arancio leads the team with 26 ground balls and 18 caused turnover, Isabelle Elder has contributed 14 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers and Houtenville owns a 13.66 goals against average and a .418 save percentage in five starts.
SCOUTING THE BANTAMS
• No. 13 Trinity (4-1), which travels to Williams on Friday, has won its last three games after defeating Springfield, 10-9, on Wednesday night.
• Casey Ward scored four times, Molly McGuckin had three goals and Natalie Miller finished with a goal and three assists for the Bantams, who took the lead for good thanks to a four-goal run that spanned the third and fourth quarters.
• McGuckin (18-1-19) has scored three or more goals in five straight games to start the year, Brooke Kurtz (4-14-18) leads the team in assists and Miller (8-4-12) has scored a pair of free-position goals.
• Ward (7-4-11) and Caitlyn Buermann (4-0-4) have combined to win 35 draws, Samantha Hark leads the team with seven caused turnovers and Ali Macdougall has posted a 10.52 goals against average and a .395 save percentage in five starts.
OLD FRIENDS ON THE OTHER SIDE
• Sunday's contest will be a reunion of sorts for Ives and Costello, who enjoyed plenty of success at Trinity before transferring to Babson.
• Ives totaled 106 goals and 33 assists for 139 points in 44 games from 2020-23, while Costello started all 34 games of her Bantams' career picking up 58 ground balls and recording 69 caused turnovers.
STREAKING BEAVERS
• Ives, who did not play in last Saturday's win at Coast Guard, has scored at least one goal in 44 straight contests going back to her time at Trinity.
• Evans has scored in 10 consecutive games dating back to last year, while Blake owns a six-game scoring streak.
• Manning has recorded at least one caused turnover in six straight outings and 12 of the Beavers' last 13 contests going back to last year.
MOVING UP THE CHARTS
• After recording a season-high 12 draw controls at Coast Guard, Connolly has 341 for her career and is just 13 shy of the program's all-time record of 354 set by Trisha Babson '12 from 2009-12.
