Women’s Soccer Visits Clark for Regular Season Finale in Worcester on Saturday

SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 20-11-5 all-time against Clark in a series that dates back to 1994. 
• The Beavers have won three straight games and are unbeaten over their last four matches against the Cougars since 2019. 
• The Green and White are unbeaten (4-0-2) in their last six trips to Worcester to face Clark going back to 2011.

LAST MEETING
• Morgan Krauss '23 M'24 tallied a goal and an assist and two goalies combined for four saves as Babson rolled to a 4-0 victory over Clark on October 28, 2023, at Hartwell-Rogers Field.
• Natalie Knauff '24 and seniors Emma Mumby and Jordyn Ferrantino scored for the Beavers, and junior Meredith Greeley and Cassie Lawson '23 M'24 produced assists in the victory. Senior Nora Ryan stopped all three shots she faced in the first 75 minutes in goal.
• Senior Anabella White recorded five saves in the Cougar goal in the loss.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (7-5-5, 5-2-3 NEWMAC) won its second straight conference game on Wednesday with a 3-2 victory over Springfield at Hartwell-Rogers Field.
• Senior Elisa Diletizia scored two goals, including the game-winner in the 87th minute, and classmate Laura Lukowicz added a goal for the Beavers. Senior Jordyn Ferrantino and first-year Mack Feeney collected assists, and Ryan registered three saves in goal for the Green and White, which finished with an 8-5 advantage in shots on goal.
• Diletizia (6-0-12) is tied for fourth in the NEWMAC in goals and tied for third with three game-winners, while Ferrantino (1-4-6) is tied for fifth in the league in assists. Lukowicz (3-0-6) and first-year Josie Lee (2-2-6) are tied with Ferrantino for second on team in points.
• Ryan (1.23 GAA, 62 saves) has started all 17 games in goal for the Green and White and is tied for the NEWMAC lead with seven shutouts.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
• Clark (4-11-2, 1-7-2 NEWMAC) is coming off a 3-1 conference loss at Wheaton on Wednesday in Norton, Mass.
• First-year Georgia Lewis scored early in the second half for the Cougars with an assist from senior Isabella Ramirez. Senior Anabella White made five saves in goal in the setback.
• Louis (6-4-16) is enjoying an outstanding rookie campaign and ranks in the top five in the NEWMAC in all three offensive categories. First-year Selene Hammad (2-3-7) had a goal and an assist in last Saturday's win over Emerson, and senior Isabel Echeverry (2-1-3) and junior Gabriella Herivaux (2-1-3) are tied for third on the team in scoring.
• White (1.56 GAA, 86 saves) has started between the pipes in 16 of the 17 games for the Cougars and has posted two clean sheets.

RACE TO THE FINISH
• With the regular season race finishing on Saturday, Babson sits in third place on a tightly-packed table that has five teams separated by just four points from second to sixth place.
• The Beavers trail Smith by two points and have just a one-point lead over Springfield and Emerson and a two-point margin over Wheaton.
• MIT has clinched the regular season title at top seed in next week's conference tournament.

BEAVERS ON A ROLL
• Babson's win over Springfield on Wednesday was the first over the Pride since 2018.
• After an 0-3 start to the season, Babson has suffered just two losses over its last 14 outings (7-2-5).
• The Beavers have posted eight shutouts in that stretch and conceded just one goal in two other contests.

MOVING UP THE CHARTS
• Ryan's seven shutouts are a career high and have her tied for 10th on Babson's single-season list. 
• Ferrantino is tied for 14th place with 18 career goals and ranks tied for 15th on the Beavers' career scoring list with 47 points. 

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 7-0-5 this season when they go into halftime with the lead or tied. 
• Babson has conceded just five second-half goals in 10 conference games this fall.
• The Green and White has won four straight fixtures and is 9-2-2 at home against NEWMAC foes over the last two season. 
• Babson is 6-0-2 on the year when scoring the first goal of the match.

• Babson will open play in the NEWMAC Tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday, with the opponent, location and start time to be determined after Saturday's outcomes.
