SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 7-19-6 all-time against Springfield in a series that dates back to 1998.

SCOUTING THE PRIDE
• Springfield (8-3-4, 5-2-2 NEWMAC) has won two straight games and is coming off a 2-1 victory over Wellesley on Saturday.
• Jen Walker converted a penalty kick in the 52nd minute and Mia Salmon tacked on an insurance marker in the 83rd minute for the Pride, which got three saves from Ryan.
• Salmon (7-3-17) has scored in three straight games and ranks second in the conference in both goals and points, Walker (5-5-15) is tied for second in the league in assists and third in points, and Molly Baxter (3-3-9) has two goals in NEWMAC play.
• Ryan (7-3-3) owns a 1.04 goals against average and a .827 save percentage to go along with three shutouts in 14 starts on the year.
POINTS AT A PREMIUM
• The Beavers enter the final week of the regular season sitting fourth with 15 points on a tightly-packed table that has six teams separated by just four points from second to seventh place.
• Babson, which trails both Springfield and Smith by two points, likely needs to defeat both the Pride and Pioneers to have a shot to finish second and could finish as low as seventh depending on other results. MIT has clinched the regular season title and the top seed in next week's conference tournament.

WINNING FORMULA
• The Beavers have recorded five shutouts over their last six outings with the lone exception of being a 4-0 loss at No. 4 MIT last Wednesday.
• Outside of the loss to the Engineers and a 3-1 defeat to WPI when it conceded a pair of penalty kicks in the opening 10 minutes of the game, Babson has conceded just three goals in its other seven NEWMAC matches while going 4-0-3 with five clean sheets.
