SERIES HISTORY

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN BEARS
• Western New England (0-2-2) has dropped two straight games and is coming off a 2-0 loss at then-No. 2 Williams on Saturday.
• First-year Miles Lanier finished with a season-high nine saves in his first career start for the Golden Bears, who conceded twice in the first half and were outshot 20-6.
• Senior Mike Riley and sophomore Matt Spruill both have a goal and senior Roger Leland has recorded one assist on the year for Western New England, which has been shut out twice in four matches.
• Lanier and fellow rookie Braylon Casinghino have combined to post a 1.50 goals against average and a .778 save percentage to go along with one clean sheet through four contests.
BEAVER BITES
• Goldstein scored his first career goal and Pestka notched his first collegiate assist in Friday's 2-1 loss at Montclair State, which is ranked sixth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division III poll.
• Senior
Louis Gazo, who produced six goals and seven assists for 19 points last season, returned to the line against Montclair State and Stevens after missing the Beavers' first three matches of the year.
• Two of Babson's three goals this season have come off of corner kicks.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers' last eight matches have been decided by either a single goal or finished in a draw.
• Going back to mid-October of last year, Babson has conceded just four times over its last 12 games.
• The Green and White is 14-1-4 since the start of the 2022 campaign when allowing one goal or fewer.
