•    Babson (0-0) returns six players that started at least 11 matches and 21 players in all from a team that went 15-3-3 and made its third straight NCAA Tournament appearance last fall.
•    Senior Louis Gazo (6-7-19) tallied four game-winning goals and finished second on the team in scoring in 2022, classmate Ryan Kim tied for second on the squad with seven assists and graduate student Ryan Grund finished with two goals and two assists for six points in 21 matches.

OPENING ACT
•    The Beavers are unbeaten (5-0-1) in season-opening matches dating back to 2016.
•    Babson has opened the season with a win in three consecutive seasons and four of its five victories during this stretch have come by a single goal.

STREAKING BEAVERS
•    The Green and White closed the 2022 campaign with an eight-game unbeaten streak, which is the program's longest stretch without a loss since 2016 when it went 11 matches between setbacks.

HITTING THE PORTAL
•    Despite graduating 11 players from last year's squad, head coach Jon Anderson '75 and his staff have added 12 players to the roster, which includes a trio of graduate transfers.
•    Justin Stone registered four goals and four assists during his four-year career at Davidson, while Sam Morgan from West Virginia and Owen Guglielmino from UConn joined the Beavers following successful Division I careers.
