Carpenter brought home Grassia, who led off the inning with a single, with a double to the all in right and first-year Talia Duca (Hudson, N.H.) followed with an RBI single to center.
Babson responded with a two-run fifth to go back in front for good. Junior Caroline Taylor (Biddeford, Maine) singled through the right side with one out and later scored on Moore's RBI knock to make it 3-2 and Morris drove in Hadjipanayis with a sacrifice fly to center for a two-run advantage.
