SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 2-21 all-time against Bowdoin in a series that dates back to 1978.
• The Beavers have dropped all five meetings against the Polar Bears since the series resumed following a 14-year hiatus in 2015.

LAST MEETING
• Donal Mullane scored the last of his five goals 54 seconds into the fourth quarter to spark a three-goal run and Bowdoin rallied from a five-goal first-quarter deficit to edge the Beavers, 11-10, on March 30, 2022, in Babson Park.
• Junior Jacob Tauss had three goals, senior Chi Chi Price scored twice and junior Grey Sunderland won 14-of-25 face-offs and scooped up eight ground balls for the Beavers, who jumped out to a 6-1 first-quarter lead.
• Oliver Bernstein scored twice, AJ Bravo caused three turnovers and Robert Hobbs made 12 of his 20 saves in the second half for the Polar Bears, who went up 11-8 with 5:43 remaining in the game.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 20 Nike/USA Lacrosse Babson (5-1) has won four consecutive games after routing Clark, 24-11, on Saturday.
• Price scored a career-high six goals, graduate student Will Spangenberg added four goals and two assists and Sunderland picked up 11 ground balls and won 18-of-25 face-offs for the Beavers, who raced out to a 15-5 halftime lead.
• Spangenberg (19-16-35) has recorded at least six points in four of the last five games, Price (24-1-25) and graduate student Ryan Kenney (20-4-24) have both scored at least three goals in four straight outings and first-year Bennett Smith (6-6-12) dished out a career-high three assists in the win over Clark.
• Sunderland has won 51.6 percent of his face-offs, junior Dillon Quinn has recorded 12 ground balls and a team-high nine caused turnovers, and senior Will Parducci boasts a 10.34 goals against average and a .546 save percentage in six starts between the pipes.
SCOUTING THE POLAR BEARS
• No. 10 Nike/USA Lacrosse/No. 15 USILA Bowdoin (5-2) has won two straight games after defeating Wesleyan, 14-8, on Saturday.
• Patrick Fitzgerald finished with five goals and one assist, Jason Lach scored four times and Noah Robb caused a team-high three turnovers for the Polar Bears, who tallied three times in the span of 22 seconds early in the third quarter to build a four-goal advantage.
• Will Byrne (21-16-37) has at least three points in 13 straight games going back to last April, Fitzgerald (27-8-35) has scored three or more goals six times this spring and Lach (19-7-26) has tallied 11 times over his last three outings.
• Ethan Barnard has won 68.3 percent of his face-offs while scooping up 65 ground balls, Jed Hoggard leads the defense with 14 ground balls and a team-high six caused turnovers and Hobbs owns an 11.71 goals against average and a .557 save percentage in seven starts on the year.
SUNDERLAND NAMED NEWMAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
• After winning a season-high 18 face-offs and scooping up 11 ground balls in Saturday's victory over Clark, Sunderland was tabbed as the league's defensive player of the week on Monday.
• He ranks third in the NEWMAC in face-off winning percentage (.516) among players that have taken at least 50 and his 6.17 ground balls per game are good for second in the conference.
SCORING FRENZY
• Babson's 24 goals against Clark are its highest total since April 21, 2013, when it beat Regis 27-4.
• The Beavers rank 22nd in Division III in scoring offense at 15.83 goals per game, 23rd in points per game (24.83) and 25th nationally in assists per game (9.00).
• The Green and White also has scored at least 16 goals in four consecutive games, which had not been done going back to 1978.
CLEAR PATH
• The Beavers enter Tuesday's clash with Bowdoin ranked second in Division III converting 92.2 percent of their clears over the first six games.
• Only defending Division III national champions RIT have converted a higher percentage (92.7) this spring.
STREAKING BEAVERS
• Price has scored in 12 straight games, Spangenberg has a goal in 10 consecutive outings dating back to last season while at Holy Cross and Kenney and senior Matt Stucchi have tallied at least once in seven and six games in a row, respectively.
• Stucchi (20), Spangenberg (14) and Price (11) all extend their point streaks on Saturday against Clark.
