SERIES HISTORY
• Babson and Bridgewater State will meet Saturday afternoon for the eighth time since 2014-15.
• The Beavers have dominated the all-time series with the men having won 21 straight dual meets, while the women have defeated the Bears in four in a row and nine of the last 12 meets.
LAST MEETING
• Babson recorded top marks in 21 of 22 swimming events and three of four diving events on the way to sweeping visiting Bridgewater State on January 28, 2022, inside Morse Pool. The Babson men posted a 120-89 victory over the Bears, while the Beavers recorded a 118-91 victory in the women's half of the meet.
• Elizabeth Demoine '22 and senior Molly Cox both recorded one individual victory and were part of both relay wins for the Babson women. Demoine took first in the 50-yard freestyle, while Cox touched the wall first in the 100-yard backstroke. The duo was joined by junior Vera Belfonti and sophomore Audrey Daniels to win the 200-yard medley relay and teamed with Daniels and junior Sophia Swain to take the 200 medley relay. Belfonti also came in first in the 100 butterfly, Daniels recorded the top time in the 100 breaststroke, and Swain posted the top time in the 500 free.
• Junior April Kupsky came in first in the 1000 free and the 200 IM for the Beavers. Senior Lindsay Nowak was first in the 200 free, classmate Caitlin Caron won the 100 free, and Allie Nunn captured the 3-meter diving event.
• Juniors Blake Albanese and Max Weygandt and sophomore Olivier Scholl all recorded a pair of first-place finishes for the Babson men. Albanese won the 100 free and 100 breaststroke, Weygandt beat the field in the 200 free and 500 free, and Scholl was first in both diving events.
• Junior Joshua Kim was first in the 200 IM, sophomore Pat Anutarasoti grabbed first place in the 100 butterfly and also teamed with Albanese and juniors Shogo Kamei and Nathan Ford to win the 200 medley relay.
SCOUTING THE BABSON MEN
• The Beavers (7-4) is coming off a split in a pair of dual meets last Saturday in Bristol, R.I., defeating Eastern Connecticut, 216-44, but falling to host Roger Williams, 132-129.
• Ford and Albanese were the top performers for the Beavers with a pair of individual victories. Ford touched the wall first in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke events while Albanese was the winner of the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke races.
• Sophomore Matthew D'Elia and first-year Spencer Ernst also registered first-place finishes in individual events for the Green and White. D'Elia was the winner of 200 butterfly and Ernst finished first in the grueling 1650.
SCOUTING THE BABSON WOMEN
• The Beavers (5-7) are back in action after splitting in a pair of dual meets last Saturday in Bristol, R.I., defeating Eastern Connecticut, 219-42, but falling to host Roger Williams, 160-101.
• Cox and first-year Sophia Sznewajs each won one individual event for the Beavers and were teammates on a winning relay team. Cox touched the wall first in the 100-yard backstroke while Sznewajs was the winner of the 50 free. They teamed with Daniels and senior Madeleine Green to capture the 400-yard free relay. Cox also finished second in the 200-yard backstroke while Sznewajs was runner-up in the 200 free.
• Kupsky posted a pair of runner-up finishes for the Beavers, coming in second in the 200-yard butterfly and the 200 IM. Belfonti and first-year Jenny Chung also posted second-place showings, Belfonti in the 100 fly and Chung in the grueling 1650 free.
SCOUTING THE BRIDGEWATER STATE MEN
• The Bears (4-6) are coming off a 173-54 decision to Bentley in a home meet on Wednesday. BSU will honors its seniors in Saturday's final home meet.
• Junior Luc Durand captured top honors in the 1,000 freestyle with a season-best time of 10:38.18, while classmate Cooper Castellone placed second in the 200 freestyle with a career-best time of 1:55.60. Sophomore Chase Simao finished second in the 200 individual medley.
• The foursome of freshmen Brady Callahan, Ryan McKenzie and Richard Palanza and junior Brennan Gravanda posted a second place finish in the 200 medley relay.
SCOUTING THE BRIDGEWATER STATE WOMEN
• The Bears (4-7) dropped a 177-62 decision at home to Bentley on Wednesday. BSU will honors its seniors in Saturday's final home meet.
• Freshman diver Cailey Simard took first place on both boards, breaking her own school record (276.05) on the one-meter board and qualifing for the NCAA Regional Diving Championships on the three-meter board (289.80).
• Sophomore Olivia Pelletier placed third in both the 200 freestyle and the 100 freestyle. Senior Danielle Vissering took third in the 50 freestyle, while classmate Selin Marino finished third in the 1,000 freestyle.
COMMON OPPONENTS
• Babson and Bridgewater State have faced several common opponents this season.
• On the women's side, both teams defeated Eastern Connecticut and Regis but lost to Wheaton, Roger Williams, Brandeis and Bentley. The only different outcome was Clark defeated BSU but lost to Babson.
• On the men's side, both teams defeated Eastern Connecticut and Regis but lost to Wheaton, Roger Williams and Bentley. The different outcomes were Babson defeating Clark and Brandeis, who both defeated Bridgewater State.
BEAVER TOP TIMES
• Albanese's time of 57.77 last week in the 100 breast was a season-best and the sixth-fastest among swimmers in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) this season.
• Ernst's time of 4:48.88 last week in the 500 free was a season-best and is the eighth-fastest NEWMAC time this winter.
• Ford's time of 24.36 last week in the 50 back was also a season-best and the eighth-fastest time among swimmers in the NEWMAC this season.
• Chung and first-year Vangella Randell posted times of 19:04.68 and 19:18.34 last week in the 1,650 free, which rank 14th and 16th among NEWMAC women this season.

• Babson returns home for its final dual meet and final home meet of the season next Saturday, February 4, in the Senior Day meet against Springfield at 12 p.m.
