SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 2-4 all-time against Endicott in a series that dates back to 2003.
• The Beavers snapped a four-game losing streak in the series with a win in 2020.
• The 2020 matchup between Babson and the Gulls was the first between the programs since 2008.
LAST MEETING
• Ethan Carpenter '21 scored once and dished out four assists as the Beavers rallied from a four-goal deficit midway through the second quarter to defeat Endicott, 8-6, on March 4, 2020, in Babson Park.
• Junior Chi Chi Price had two goals and Matthew MacCune '20 and graduate student Lee Sipes both finished with a goal and an assist for the Beavers, held the visitors scoreless for nearly 38 minutes while running off eight straight tallies.
• Mike Sudora scored three times for the Gulls, who took a 4-0 lead on his second tally of the game with 8:33 to go in the second.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 17 Inside Lacrosse/RV USILA Babson (2-1) returns to action for the first time since suffering an 8-4 loss to No. 9/13 Union back on February 27.
• Sophomore Jacob Tauss had two goals, senior Drew Thomas finished with four ground balls and two caused turnovers and classmate Mac Mowat stopped 12 shots for the Beavers, who were limited to just one first-half goal.
• Junior Matt Stucchi (7-0-7) and sophomore Topher Bower (4-3-7) are tied for the team lead in points, Tauss (6-0-6) and Sipes (5-1-6) have combined for 11 goals and sophomore Grey Sunderland has won 63.8 percent (30-of-47) of his face-offs.
• Junior Kyle Sanborn (10 GB, 4 CT) and Thomas (9 GB, 4 CT) are tied for the team lead in caused turnovers and Mowat boasts a 6.40 goals against average and a .644 save percentage in three starts.
SCOUTING THE GULLS
• Endicott (0-3) is coming off a 19-5 loss to Bowdoin in the snow on Wednesday night.
• Sophomore Nick Pagluiso scored twice and junior Michael Hauptman added a goal and an assist for the Gulls, who won just 6-of-19 first-half face-offs against the Polar Bears.
• Hauptman (5-3-8) scored four times in the team's OT loss to Connecticut College last Saturday, senior Craig Clafin (2-5-7) leads the squad in assists, and juniors Max Kesicki and Domenic Russo have scored five goals apiece.
• First-year Thomas Barker has won 21-of-64 face-offs (32.8 pct.), senior Kevin Flowers and junior Domenic Masucci have forced two turnovers apiece, and sophomore Christopher Tillotson and junior Tim Luciano have combined to post an 14.29 goals against average and a .494 save percentage between the pipes.
BEAVERS IN THE NCAA RANKINGS
• Mowat ranks 20th in Division III in goals against average and 25th in save percentage, while Stucchi is tied for 21st nationally with three man-up goals.
• Babson ranks 29th in Division III in scoring defense allowing just 7.00 goals per game, and is also 42nd in face-off winning percentage (.625).
SPREADING OUT THE SCORING
• Eight different players have scored at least one goal through three games, which includes six players with multiple tallies.
• Bower, Price, senior Peter Chisholm and sophomore Alex Fairman all have at least two assists and have accounted for 10 of the Beavers' 11 helpers this spring.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers have outscored their first three opponents 9-2 in the second quarter and 17-7 in the first half.
• Babson has won eight consecutive games when securing at least 50 percent of the face-offs.
• The Green and White is 17-1 when allowing eight goals or fewer going back to the 2018-19 campaign.
• Babson is 2-0 this spring when scooping up more ground balls than its opponents.
