SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 30-18 all-time against MIT in a series that dates back to 1984.
• The Beavers have won eight of their last 11 matches against the Engineers with all three losses coming in the conference playoffs.
• Eight of the last nine games played between the Beavers and MIT have been played in Babson Park.

POSTSEASON HISTORY
• Babson and MIT will meet for the fifth consecutive NEWMAC Tournament and 11th time overall in the conference playoffs on Saturday.
• The Beavers are just 2-8 all-time in the postseason against the Engineers, although both of the program's conference tournament championships (2010, 2016) have come with victories over MIT.
• Each of the past five conference playoff games against the Engineers have been decided by a single goal, which includes MIT's 3-2 OT victory in the 2019 championship game.

LAST MEETING
• Senior Lauren Curley, classmate Quinn Greer and junior Meara Hanyon all scored once as the Beavers defeated MIT, 3-0, on October 2, in Babson Park.
• Senior Millie Brady chipped in with two assists for Babson, which did not allow a shot on goal.
• Senior goalkeepers Kiely Smiga-McManus and Juliana Strother combined to make five saves for the Engineers.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 3 Babson (19-1) extended its school-record 15-game winning streak with a 5-0 victory over fifth-seeded WPI in a semifinal match on Thursday night.
• Junior Brianne McGrath scored three times and Brady added a goal and an assist for the Beavers, who posted their ninth shutout of the year.
• McGrath (16-13-45) leads the NEWMAC in assists and is second in points, Brady (14-11-39) is third in the league in scoring, and Curley (14-5-33) is tied for fourth in the conference in goals.
• Senior goalkeeper Cassidy Riley leads the league in goals against average (0.85) and shutouts (8) while also ranking second in save percentage (.787) in 20 starts.

SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• Second-seeded MIT (13-4) has won seven consecutive games after rolling past third-seeded Wellesley, 4-0, in a semifinal match on Thursday night.
• Senior Lucy Kitch-Peck scored 1:12 into the match and first-year Ashley Lederman recorded a goal and an assist for the Engineers, who are making their fifth consecutive NEWMAC championship game appearance.
• Junior Paige Forester (24-12-60) ranks second in Division III in points, classmate Liberty Ladd (11-7-29) has three game-winning goals, and fellow junior Erica Radley (11-2-24) has tallied four times over the last three matches.
• Strother and Smiga-McManus have combined to post a 1.15 goals against average and a .735 save percentage to go along with eight shutouts this fall.

BABSON IN THE POSTSEASON
• The Beavers are the top seed in the NEWMAC Tournament for the sixth season in a row dating back to 2015.
• Babson, which won conference tournament titles in 2010 and 2016, is making its fourth championship game appearance in five years since 2016.
• The Beavers have been eliminated from the conference playoffs in each of the last three seasons (2017-19).

CURLEY HITS THE CENTURY MARK
• Curley became the 11th player to reach the 100-point mark in Thursday's win over WPI.
• She ranks ninth in program history in goals (44) and is tied for 10th all-time with her 100 points.

ASSAULT ON THE RECORD BOOKS
• With five goals on Thursday night, the 2021 Beavers have scored more goals than any other team in program history (93), surpassing the previous record of 91 set back in 2005.
• Brady ranks ninth in school history in assists (25) and is tied for 15th all-time with 75 career points.
• Babson's 4.65 goals per game average is the highest in program history and ranks fifth in Division III entering Thursday's contest.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• McGrath (45), Brady (39) and Curley (33) give the Beavers three players with at least 30 points for the first time since 2010.
• Babson has outscored conference opponents 51-3 in nine games this fall.
• Babson is 16-0 this season and has won 97 of its last 101 games when leading at halftime.
• The Green and White is 12-0 at home this fall.

UP NEXT
• The winner will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, while the loser will hope to earn an at-large bid when the 26-team championship field is announced on Sunday night.
