Golf Places 12th at Lou Flumere Tournament

WALTHAM, Mass. - The Babson College golf team participated in the Lou Flumere Tournament hosted by Bentley College on Wednesday afternoon. The Beavers placed 12th out of 20 teams with a team score of 334.

Sophomore Matt Foley (East Longmeadow, Mass.) led the Beavers shooting 80 on the day placing him 21st. Sophomore Bryan Eger (Marion, Mass.) shot an 83 to place him 37th and junior Fernando Pineres (Cartagena, Columbia) placed 43rd shooting an 84. Sophomore Matt Doherty (Tuckahoe, N.Y.) rounded out the group shooting an 87 and placing 64th overall.

Babson will compete in the two-day UMass Dartmouth Invitational at Allendale Country Club this Friday and Saturday. Friday's round will begin at 1pm and Saturday's round will begin at 8am.
