MARLBOROUGH, Mass.— After helping the team remain undefeated on the season, Babson College graduate student goalkeeper Will Devall (Shoreham, N.Y.) was named New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week Monday morning.

Devall was terrific in two starts last week, recording back-to-back shutouts to help No. 4 Babson to a win and a tie. The standout keeper made five saves in Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Roger Williams and was not forced to make a save in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Bates while lowering his goals against average in five starts to 0.60.  

A graduate transfer from Skidmore, Devall is second in the NEWMAC in goals against average, save percentage (.850) and shutouts (2). He was the 2024 Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year and a 2025 All-Region second team selection for the Thoroughbreds.

Babson (5-0-1) opens this season's NEWMAC play on Saturday against Springfield at 1 p.m. at Hartwell-Rogers Field.
