Will Devall (Shoreham, N.Y.) finished with five saves to help No. 4 Babson College play to a 0-0 draw with visiting Roger Williams University in non-conference men's soccer action on Tuesday afternoon at Hartwell-Rogers Field.
With the draw, Babson extended its unbeaten streak to five games to begin the season and is now 4-0-1 overall. Roger Williams is unbeaten in its last three matches and is now 4-1-1 on the year.
Senior goalkeeper Eliot Panaccione (Pepperell, Mass.) stopped four shots on the afternoon for the Hawks as the teams finished the match with 12 shots and six corner kicks apiece.
The Beavers' best chance of the opening half came in the 23rd minute as first-year
Adonai Samuel (Brookline, Mass.) settled a ball at the top of the box and ripped a half-volley that forced a diving save Panaccione. Devall made the second of his two first-half stops in the 35th minute when he pushed away a 25-yard blast by Roger Williams sophomore Aidan Jennings (San Diego, Calif.) following a turnover in the midfield.
Devall was well-positioned to stop a shot by Hawks' junior Tyler Jastrab (Townsend, Mass.) in the 65th minute and then denied senior Dylan Thomas (Norwalk, Conn.) at the right post from inside 12 yards following a deflection in the 71st minute. Babson's best second-half scoring chance came less than a minute later as Panaccione reacted quickly to deny Babson senior

Both defenses buckled down late as there were no shots on target by either team over the final 18 minutes.
Both teams return to action on Saturday as Babson hosts Bates at 3:30 p.m., while Roger Williams takes on Western New England at 3 p.m.
GAME NOTES
• The Beavers are 8-6-2 all-time against Roger Williams and the teams have split their last nine matches dating back to 2008.
• Eleven of the last 12 matches between Babson and the Hawks have been decided by one goal or ended in a draw since 2005.
• The Green and White was held off the scoreboard for the first time in 11 games going back to October 28 of last season while keeping their first clean sheet since the first round of last year's NCAA Tournament, a 1-0 win over SUNY Oneonta.
• The 0-0 draw was the first for the Beavers since November 24, 2024, in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals at Middlebury.
