SERIES HISTORY
• The Beavers are 12-0 against the Nor'easters in the all-time series that dates back to 2012.
• Seven of the 12 contests have been decided by two goals or less, including four overtime affairs.
• Babson has won all five games between the two sides at MacDowell Field, including one-goal outcomes in 2019 and 2022.

LAST MEETING
• Caroline DiGiovanni '26 exploded for a career-high four goals and her 14th career multi-goal game as No. 3 Babson pulled away from UNE for a 5-2 victory on October 28, 2025 at Blue Bolt Field in Biddeford, Maine.
• Junior Lauren Golden also scored for the Beavers, and Alex Michelotti '26 and junior Charlotte Roe collected assists. Sophomore Madison Tibbals made three saves in goal to record the victory.
• Junior Riley Zielinski and senior Kate Kelso potted goals for the Nor'Easters, while Greta Jennison made seven saves in goal in the setback.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 6 Babson (3-2) is coming off an impressive 1-0 victory at No. 5 Middlebury on Sunday in Vermont. • Senior Helen DiGiovanni scored the only goal and a tenacious defense by Babson limited Middlebury to just three total shots. Tibbals finished with two saves in the Babson goal and was assisted by strong team defense led by Golden, senior Emma Smith, sophomore Anna Bonazzoli and first-year Julia Krepelka. Sophomore Molly DiGiulio recorded an assist on DiGiovanni's goal.
• DiGiovanni (4-0-8) leads the team in scoring and junior Penny Baroni (2-1-5) is second on the squad in goals and points. Senior Grace Mullaney (1-1-3) is third in points and junior Taylor Shoflick (0-2-2) tops the team in assists.  
• Tibbals (1.68 GAA, 14 saves) is 3-2 with two shutouts this season and has started 28 consecutive games dating back to last fall.

SCOUTING THE NOR'EASTERS
• U. of New England (1-3) is looking to snap a three-game skid, including a 4-3 overtime setback at Roger Williams in its Conference of New England (CNE) opener on Saturday.
• Senior Gianna Korisianos tallied a goal and two assists in the loss, including a tying goal with 11 seconds left in regulation for force overtime for UNE, which overcame a 3-0 second-half deficit to tie the game. First-year Corinne Ramunno and sophomore Ella Reeves also scored goals in the comeback, and Riley Curtin made seven saves in goal for the Nor'Easters.
• Korisianos (1-2-4) owns the team scoring lead through four games, Reeves (1-1-3) is right behind, and Kelso, Ramunno and sophomore Ava Wolverton each have one goal for UNE, which finished with a 12-9 record last season.
• Curtin has played every minute of all four games this season, recording a 2.23 goals against average and making 40 saves.

MORGAN'S MESSAGE GAME
• Tuesday's game will be played in support of Morgan's Message, a non-profit organization that strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics.

NEWMAC WEEKLY HONORS
• DiGiovanni and Mullaney were named NEWMAC Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week when the conference announced its weekly honors on Monday.
• DiGiovanni scored twice and provided one game-winning goal as Babson went 2-1 while splitting a pair of games against nationally-ranked foes. Mullaney was terrific in her central defensive midfielder role as Babson recorded a pair of shutout victories in three games.

NOTABLE VICTORY
• Sunday's win over Middlebury was just the second win in 16 career meetings vs. the Panthers and the first since September 24, 2017, snapping a nine-game losing skid in the series.
• Babson was the first team to shut out Middlebury on its own field since No. 7 Bowdoin blanked the No. 10 Panthers 1-0 on September 10, 2010.
• The Beavers held Middlebury without a shot or a penalty corner until the final two minutes of the third quarter and conceded just three shots and three corners in the game.

HOME SWEET HOME
• Babson is 1-1 at home this season and has won 24 of its last 25 games at MacDowell Field since a 2-1 loss to No. 1 Middlebury on September 15, 2024.
• The Beavers have won 40 of 42 home games over the last four seasons and 64 of their last 70 outings since the start of the 2021 season.

BEAVER BITES
• DiGiovanni has 12 career goals and a team-leading four markers this season, one shy of her career high of five set in 2024.
• DiGiulio registered her first career point with an assist on the game-winner at Middlebury, which includes five games this season and six outings for Providence last season.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers have won 87 consecutive games when leading at halftime.
• Babson has won 32 games in a row going back to 2024 and is 95-2 since 2021 when scoring the first goal of the game.
• Going back to 2023, the Green and White have won their last 53 games when scoring at least two goals.
• Babson is 46-5 in weekday games since 2022, and 30-10 in the month of September.
