SERIES HISTORY
• The Beavers are 1-14 all-time against Middlebury in a series that dates back to 1996, with seven of the losses coming by just one goal.
• Babson has dropped the last nine encounters, including four one-goal outcomes, and eight of the 14 losses all-time are by one or two goals.
• The only win in the series for the Green and White came on September 24, 2017 at MacDowell Field (2-1).

LAST MEETING
• Senior Megan Fuqua scored three first-half goals and four overall and classmate Claire McMichael collected three assists as No. 1 Middlebury registered a 5-1 victory over No. 3 Babson in a battle of top-five teams on September 14, 2025, at Peter Kohn Field.
• Sophomore Anna Bonazzoli scored her first career goal for the Green and White, and classmate Madison Tibbals made a career-high 12 saves in goal in the setback.
• Sarah Bona '26 also scored for the Panthers and junior Emma McCann added an assist in the win. Senior Izzy Redzic needed to make just one save in goal to record the victory.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 6 Babson (2-2) is looking to bounce back from a 2-0 loss at No. 7 Williams on Thursday evening in Williamstown, Ma.
• The Beavers were blanked for the first time in 47 games since a 1-0 overtime loss at Williams on September 8, 2024. Tibbals did her best to keep the Ephs at bay, finishing with five saves, and junior Penny Baroni led the offensive attack with two of her five shots on goal while senior Grace Mullaney had three shots.
• DiGiovanni (3-0-6) leads the team in points including her first career multi-goal game against No. 10 Endicott. Baroni (2-1-5) had all of her points in Tuesday's win over Saint Joseph's (Maine), Mullaney (1-1-3) has at least a point in her five of her last seven games going back to last season, and junior Taylor Shoflick (0-2-2) tops the team in assists.  
• Tibbals (2.13 GAA, 12 saves) is 2-2 with one shutout, while first-year Carly Spinner made her collegiate debut off the bench on Tuesday against St. Joe's.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
• No. 5 Middlebury (1-0) will host Connecticut College in its conference opener on Saturday before welcoming Babson for its third straight home game to open the season on Sunday.
• Senior Megan Fuqua produced her third career hat trick in Middlebury's season opener, an 8-0 victory over Union last Saturday. McCann collected a career-high four assists to tie the single-game program record set in 2012. Senior Ally Kennedy, junior Emma McNealy, sophomore Hadley Crowther, and first-years Anna Powell and Sarah Kreider all scored in the victory.
• Fuqua (14-2-30), a third team All-American, is the leading returning scorer from last season, while McMichael dished out a team-high six helpers alongside six goals. Redzic finished with a 14-6 record, turned away 63 shots over nearly 1,239 minutes and finished with a 1.02 goals against average.
• The Panthers have won seven of the last eight NCAA Championships and boast a stellar 160-13 record across the past eight campaigns.

RANKED OPPONENTS
• Babson is 1-2 against ranked opponents this season after a 2-0 victory over No. 10 Endicott, a 6-1 loss to then No. 4 Christopher Newport and Thursday's 2-0 setback at Williams.
• The Beavers will also face No. 2 Tufts on September 29 and No. 16 Bowdoin and No. 25 Ithaca in October.
• The Green and White were 7-2 against ranked teams in 2025 after going 3-4 in 2024 and 7-2 in 2023, totaling 18-10 over the past four seasons.
