WHAT TO KNOW
• Nine members of the Babson men's and women's track & field teams will compete at the MIT Final Qualifier on Thursday afternoon in Cambridge.
• Thursday marks the final day to post a qualifying mark for the NCAA Division III national championships prior to the announcement of the official selections for this year's meet on Friday.
WHO'S COMPETING

Victoria Hart (100M hurdles, 400M hurdles), junior
Reese Gallant (100M) and junior
Colleen Corman (400M hurdles) will represent the Beaver women on the track and sophomore
Amrit Rehal (high jump) and first-year
Elaina Head (high jump) will compete in field events.
• Sophomore
Jackson Adams (400M hurdles), first-year
Cameron Mehallo (400M hurdles) and sophomore
Nick Yacoub (5000M) will compete on the track for the Babson men and graduate student
Skyler Mott (high jump) will represent the Beavers in the field events.
AMONG THE NATION'S BEST
• With selections to the NCAA Division III championships slated for the end of the week, Babson has two athletes who are in strong position to earn a berth to nationals.
• Mott ranks 10th in Division III in the high jump with his program-record-breaking leap of 6-feet, 9.75-inches.
• On the women's side, Rehal is ranked 13th in the high jump with her program-record leap of 5-feet, 6-inches set at Farley Inter Regional meet at Williams last weekend.
• Other possibilities include Yacoub, who is ranked 31st in the 10,000 meters with a time of 30:14.25 set at Williams last week, and Head, who is ranked 48th in the triple jump with her program-record of 37-feet, 7.75-inches set at the NEWMAC Championships last month.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM WILLIAMS
• Rehal broke her own program record in the high jump to highlight the Beaver performances last Saturday at the Farley Inter Regional meet at Williams College.
• Rehal posted a leap of 5-feet, 6-inches to placed fifth and surpass the record of 5-feet, 5.25 inches set at the same meet last year. The top performances on the track was by Gallant, who placed fourth in the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.70 seconds after finishing seventh in the prelims in 12.65 seconds.
• Mott, sophomore
Aithan Bezanson and first-year
Brady Kirtland posted top-five finishes to highlight the Beaver men's performances last Saturday at Williams. Mott finished in a tie for first place in the high jump clearing six-feet, 1.25-inches; Kirtland ran a time of 15.67 in the 110-meter hurdles to qualify eighth for the finals, then went on to finish fifth with a time of 15.59; and Bezanson brought home third place in the decathlon with a season-best total of 5776 points.
• Babson was represented in the men's 4x400-meter relay by the team of sophomores

Noa Wong, Mehallo and sophomore
Jackson Adams. The quartet finished eighth with a season-best time of 3:18.66, which is the season-best and the third fastest time in program history.
NEW ENGLAND DIVISION III CHAMPIONSHIPS RECAP
• Both the Babson men's and women's team registered four All-Region performances in three events, including three individuals and one relay, at the New England Division III Championships at Springfield as the men finished tied for 20th and the women were tied for 16th.

Jackson Adams earned All-Region honors with a third-place finish in a time of 3:19.38, which is the fourth-fastest time in program history. Mehallo placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 54.06, Adams joined him with All-Region honors by placing eighth in a time of 54.82, and first-year
Brady Kirtland earned All-Region with a seventh place in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.37 seconds.

Elaina Head both earn All-Region honors in the high jump for the Beavers, with both clearing 5-feet, 3.75 inches. Head also took fourth place in the triple jump with a mark of 37-feet, 1.25-inches as well as breaking her own program record in the long jump with a mark of 17-feet, 11.25-inches. MAJOR NEWMAC HONOR FOR HEAD
• Head received two major awards when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its women's track & field post-season honors, including the Women's Field Athlete of the Year as well as the Women's Track & Field Rookie of the Year.
• A standout in the jumps, Head achieved three podium appearances at the conference meet including two All-NEWMAC performances (top two) and a pair of program records. She captured the long jump title on Friday with a program-record mark of 17-feet, 9.75-inches, then placed third in the high jump on Saturday, matching her season best by clearing 5-feet, 3.25-inches, and completed her day with a runner-up finish in the triple jump with a program-record leap of 37-feet, 7.75-inches,
• Head is just the third athlete in program history to receive a NEWMAC major award following Corman
, who was rookie of the year in 2024, and Marina Capalbo '15, who was track athlete of the year in 2015.
