CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Senior
Matia Cristiani (San Salvador, El Salvador) became the program's all-time leader in combined singles and doubles wins as No. 9 Babson College defeated No. 24 New York University, 4-1, in non-conference women's tennis action on Saturday inside the JB Carr Tennis Bubble.
Babson is now 3-0 on the year, while NYU drops to 2-2 with it second loss in a row.

Sandra Sikharulidze (Kyiv, Ukraine) for a 6-4 victory over Sophia Yang and Visnja Gusavac at number one doubles and then defeated 13th-ranked Victoria Wang 7-6, 6-1 at number one singles for the 197th and 198th wins of her career surpassing the previous mark of 196 set by former teammate
Olivia Soffer '25. The doubles victory was the 100th of her career and she is now just one shy of Soffer's all-time mark of 99 singles triumphs.

Sarai Dorismond (Carlsbad, Calif.) and first-year
Jolie Wang (Los Altos Hills, Calif.) were 6-4 winners at number doubles and junior

Alessandra Cristiani (San Salvador, El Salvador) completed the sweep with a 6-1 victory at number three.
Sikharulidze posted a 6-3, 6-3 triumph over Gusavac at number two singles and Wang rallied for a 4-6, 6-2, 10-3 win at number four to secure the match. Dorismond dropped a 1-6, 6-1, 10-7 decision to Yang at number three.

Grace Starcher (Morristown, N.J.) was up 4-0 at number six at the time of decision.
Babson is right back in action on Sunday when it faces No. 10 Bowdoin at 12 p.m. in Brunswick, Maine.
