ROME, N.Y.—First-year Anita Wang (Phoenix, Ariz.) made four birdies on the way to shooting a 3-over 75 and is just three strokes off the lead as 21st-ranked Babson College sits in sixth place after round one of the Hamilton Invitational at Rome Country Club on Saturday.
The Beavers are 28-over after posting a score of 313, which is just one shot behind both Ithaca and Susquehanna. No. 12 Hamilton (301) owns a five-shot lead over No. 14 Wellesley's B squad, while the Continentals' B team is in third at 24-over par.
