WHAT TO KNOW
• The 21st-ranked Babson women's golf team will travel to central New York to take part in the Hamilton Invitational at Rome Country Club for the second time in program history on Saturday and Sunday.
• The Beavers are among seven teams competing at Rome CC, which is a par-72 layout that plays to 5,737 yards.
2024 HAMILTON INVITATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
•
Alice Zhu birdied the second playoff hole to earn medalist honors as Babson shot 314-310 to finish in a tie for fourth place at 48-over 624 on October 5-6, 2024, at Rome CC.
• Zhu shot 75-76 to finish in a three-way tie for first, Sarah Ji '25 grabbed a share of 10th place at 12-over with rounds of 80-76 and senior
Laura Lu shot 81-77 to tie for 16th overall at 14-over for the Beavers, who were just two strokes out of first place behind Wellesley and Amherst.
• The Green and White finished second in the 13-team field in par-5 scoring (7-over) and third in par-3 scoring (20-over) in addition to leading all teams with 22 birdies.
ABOUT THE BEAVERS
• No. 21 Babson is in action for the second weekend in a row after shooting 313-311 to finish in a three-way tie for fourth place at 56-over 624 in the Williams Invitational at Taconic Golf Club last Sunday.

Katie Yang shot 77-73 to tie for sixth place at 8-over 150, first-year
Anita Wang carded rounds of 79-77 to earn a share of 25th position and junior
Camila Amaya opened with a 5-over 76 on the way to tying for 35th place at 18-over for the Beavers, who were third in par-3 scoring and tied for the third-fewest double-bogeys in the 15-team field.
• Yang, who boasts a pair of top-11 finishes in two 36-hole events this fall, leads the team with a 75.40 stroke average, while Wang is second the squad with a 76.40 average through five rounds.

Vanya Bansal (79.80) matched her low round of the fall in the final round of the Williams Invitational, and classmate
Francesca Choquette has an 80.20 average in five rounds on the year.
YANG CLAIMS GWGC GOLFER OF THE WEEK HONOR
• After finishing in a tie for sixth place at last weekend's Williams Invitational, Yang was tabbed as the league's golfer of the week on Thursday.
• Her final round 73 was the best of her career and also represented the lowest round by any Babson player at Taconic GC over the last four seasons.
• Yang tied for first in the field in par-3 scoring at 2-over and was one of just three competitors in the 74-player field to avoid making a double-bogey over 36 holes.
PRESENCE IN THE POLL
• The Beavers collected 121 points and were ranked 21st in the first edition of the WGCA Division III coaches' poll released on September 25.
• Babson has now been ranked in each of the last seven WGCA poll releases going back to October 24, 2025, and has received votes in 16 consecutive editions of the poll since October 4, 2024."
• The Beavers' current ranking is their highest since April 11, 2025, when they were ranked a program-best 13th.
ABOUT THE FIELD
• The seven-team field at the Hamilton Invitational is highlighted by the host Continentals, who are currently ranked 11th in the WGCA poll, and No. 14 Wellesley.
• Hamilton is coming off a sixth-place finish at the 54-hole Tartan Invitational on September 28-29, while Wellesley tied for fourth alongside Babson at the Williams Invitational.
• Ithaca, which placed 12th at Williams, Cortland, Gettysburg and Susquehanna will also be competing at Rome CC.
