SERIES HISTORY
• Babson and Bridgewater State will meet Saturday for the 11th time since 2014-15.
• The Beaver women have defeated the Bears in seven in a row and 12 of the last 15 meets, while the Babson men have dominated the all-time series with 24 straight dual meet victories.

) led the team with a pair of individual victories as the Beavers defeated the Bears, 190-44.

Ilaan Garware (1,650 free) also captured individual victories in the triumph.

LAST SEASON'S WOMEN'S MEET
• Junior
Sylvie Racicot (200 free, 100 free) and sophomore
Tuana Turhan (200 IM, 100 breast) registered a pair of individual victories to lead the Beavers to a 153-85 triumph.
• Kendall Garvey '25 broke her own record in the 1650-yard freestyle to finish first and was one of seven swimmers to record an individual victory on the day. Audrey Daniels '25 came in first in the 50 free, Anya Pelshaw M'25 won the 100 butterfly, Emily Tran '25 edged the field by nearly three seconds in the 100 backstroke and Sophia Silver '25 touched the wall first in the 500 free.

Marta Gershanok and Daniels won the 200 medley relay, while Gershanok, Tran, Garvey and Pelshaw captured in the 200 free relay.
ABOUT THE BABSON MEN
• The Beavers (6-1) are back in the pool for the first time since a dominating 205-82 victory over Wesleyan back on January 3 in Middletown, Conn.
• Taslakov (200 free, 200 back), Krol (1-M, 3-M diving) and first-years
Evan Hong (50 free, 100 free) and
Matthias McFarlane (50 breast, 200 breast) each finished first in a pair of events for the Beavers.
• Ambelang came in first in the 50 backstroke, Rhee won the 200 butterfly and Iglar captured the 200 IM. Sophomore
Dom Crisafulli also contributed a first-place showing in the 500 free.
• Ambelang, Huynh, Rhee and Hong came in first by more than nine seconds to win the 400 medley relay, while the quartet of Hannenian, Ambelang, McFarlane and Hong prevailed in the 200 free relay.
ABOUT THE BABSON WOMEN
• The Beavers (5-3-1) are back in action for the first time since a 203-91 loss at Wesleyan on January 3 in Middletown, Conn.
• Turhan (200 fly, 200 IM) captured a pair of events and Babson's team of sophomores
Samantha Gilbert and
Hailey Cronan, Racicot and Netishen won the 200 free relay.
• The Beavers posted a half dozen runner-up finishes, led by Turhan in the 50 fly. Gilbert took second in the 200 free and 500 free; Netishen was second in the 50 back and 100 free, and first-year
Becky Hwang finished runner-up in the 200 back.
• Racicot brought home a pair of third-place finishes in the 50 free and 100 free. Hwang took third in the 50 back and first-year
AJ Hallbert was third in the 200 IM.
A LOOK AT THE BEARS
• The Bridgewater State men have posted a 2-3 record in dual meets and captured first place in the BSU Invitational back in December, while the women are 1-4 in dual meets and placed third in the BSU Invitational.
• The men's squad split a tri-meet with Keene State (win, 192-77) and Brandeis (loss, 139-138) last Saturday at the Dr. Mary Jo Moriarty Swimming Pool at Bridgewater State.
• Senior Desmond Ng finished first in the 100 butterfly, 100 breaststroke and 400 IM, and teamed with senior Ryan McKenzie, junior Jirat Saengthong and first-year James Hein to win the 400 medley relay. Senior Robbie Soucy won both diving events for the Bears.
• The women's team dropped both ends of the tri-meet last Saturday, falling to Brandeis (170-119) and Keene State (157-128).
• First-year Sienna DeLucia and sophomore Gianna Varady captured the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events, respectively, and qualified for next month's NCAA Division III Regional Diving Championships, joining senior record-holder Cailey Simard, who has already qualified. In addition, senior Ava Fenton won the 100 back, sophomore Evangelina Chaves took the 100 fly, and senior Julie Remson won the 50 back.
NEWMAC WEEKLY HONORS
• Both of Babson's teams were represented when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its weekly honors on January 12 for their performances against Wesleyan.
• Turhan was tabbed NEWMAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season, and the team of Gilbert, Cronan, Racicot and Netishen were named as the NEWMAC Women's Relay Team of the Week.
• McFarlane was named NEWMAC Men's Swimmer of the Week, and the group Hannenian, Ambelang, McFarlane and Hong were selected as the NEWMAC Men's Relay Team of the Week.
SUCCESS IN THE CLASSROOM
• Both of Babson's teams were also recognized for their success in the classroom with College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team honors on Wednesday.
• The Beavers were among 709 teams recognized by the CSCAA for their academic achievements during the fall 2025 semester. The Babson women ended the term with a 3.36 grade-point average while the men's squad finished with a 3.25 GPA. Both teams garnered CSCAA Scholar All-America accolades for the 17th consecutive semester going back to 2017.
LOOKING AHEAD
• Babson will conclude its dual meet schedule on the road at Wellesley on January 31 and at Springfield on February 7.
• The four-day NEWMAC Championships will run from February 19-22 at MIT in Cambridge.
