Stanley Arena.

With the victory, Babson is unbeaten in its last three games and improves to 8-1-2 on the season while Elmira dropped its third straight game and fell to 3-8-0 overall.

Senior Mike Stevens (Massapequa, N.Y.) and sophomore Evan Brown (Little Silver, N.J.) contributed a goal and an assist apiece, senior Sam Sibold (South Hero, Vt.) and first-year Reid Pehrkon (Vienna, Va.) also scored for the Beavers and senior Ian Schmitt (Schuylerville, N.Y.) was good for three assists. Senior Brody Haynes (York, Pa.) and sophomore Cameron Manley (Whitesboro, N.Y.) combined to make 28 saves in the Elmira goal.

The Beavers jumped on top with the first three goals in the opening period. Driscoll poked in the rebound of his own shot from the slot at 4:32 to opening the scoring, and Andriole potted a power play goal on a shot from the point to make it 2-0 at 11:54. Fallon converted a pass from Brown from the left circle with a nice shot into the upper left corner of the net for a 3-0 lead at 15:15. Elmira got on the scoreboard with less than a second left in the opening frame when Jerzak buried a loose puck near the right circle.

Babson put the game out of reach with a five-goal second period. Brown finished off a 2-on-1 with Schmitt with a backhander from the right side just 40 seconds into the stanza and Pehrkon buried a one-timer from Driscoll at 7:15 as the Beaver lead grew to 5-1. Sibold tacked on his first goal of the season from the right face-off dot that went inside the left post at 11:44, Andriole hit a slap shot from the top of the left circle that beat the goalie inside the near post at 17:05, and Stevens rounded out the period with a goal in the final minute off a feed from Driscoll, giving the Green and White an 8-1 margin after two.

The Soaring Eagles scored the only three goals of the third period. Schwindt put in a backhander on a rebound at 4:49, Bennett's shot went through Cleaves' pads and trickled over the goal line at 12:32, and Tarjamo snapped a one-time from the top of the left circle after sophomore Owen Halloran (Markham, Ont.) won a face-off.
