PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Following multiple delays, Friday's scheduled contest between visiting Babson College and Johnson & Wales University was postponed. 

After sitting through a 90-minute weather delay, the Beavers and Wildcats almost 16 minutes before the game was halted due to lightning in the area. The match was then officially postponed less than an hour later. 

Babson and Johnson & Wales are planning to make-up the game at a date and time to be determined. 

The Beavers will now officially open their season on Tuesday when they host Brandeis at 4 p.m. on Hartwell-Rogers Field.
