INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Babson College senior Olivia Soffer (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and junior Matia Cristiani (San Salvador, El Salvador) were selected to compete in the upcoming 2025 NCAA Division III Singles and Doubles Championship on Wednesday night. 

The Beavers' duo were among 32 players to compete in the singles championship and one of 16 pairings picked to take part in the doubles tournament. The singles and doubles draws will be announced on May 23 with playing running from May 24-27 at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center on the campus of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in Claremont, Calif. 

Soffer and Cristiani will make their third consecutive appearance in the the doubles championship after reaching the final in 2023 and capturing the program's first national title last May in St. Louis. They are 20-2 in doubles this spring and have won 11 consecutive dual matches going back to March 21. 

Soffer,  who is 24-4 on the year, was selected to take part in the singles championship for the fourth consecutive season. She reached the quarterfinals of the 2022 tournament and was the runner-up in 2023 before suffering a first round loss at last year's tournament. 

Cristiani was selected to take part int eh singles championship for the third consecutive season after reaching the second round in 2023 and advancing to the semifinals last May. She has won 19 straight matches and is 24-1 on the year with her only loss coming in the third round of the ITA New England Championship back on September 21.

Babson (14-6), which earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament  on Monday, will face UMass Boston in a first round match on Friday at 3 p.m. in Middlebury, Vt.
