Senior Brian Rapanan (Gurnee, Ill.) suffered the loss after giving up six earned runs in 1.2 innings and is now 1-1 on the season.
Down 1-0 after Schoenfeld led off the game with a homer to right, the Green and White busted the game open with a seven-run second inning. Sadowsky tied the game with a sacrifice fly, Parisi brought home Liss with a double to deep right and Santos ripped a two-run single to right that brought home two more runs for a 4-1 lead.

McCarthy homered to right to start the top of the fourth but Julian walked and stole second to start the bottom of the frame before coming home on Savage's one-out single to center as the Beavers regained a six-run advantage.
Tubbs pulled the Engineers within 8-4 on his two-out, two-run single in the top of the seventh, and they loaded the bases down five in the top of the ninth thanks to a single by Tubbs and back-to-back walks. Babson junior
Zander Teator (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) escaped major damage though, retiring the next three batters he faced while allowing just an RBI ground out by Schoefeld to close out the victory.
