Box Score ORANGE, Calif.—No. 32 Chapman University got victories in both singles and doubles from Caleb Wilkins (Long Beach, Calif.) on the way to defeating No. 18 Babson College, 4-3, in non-conference men's tennis action on Friday afternoon.
Babson, which had its six-match winning streak halted, is now 10-2 on the year. Chapman, which had dropped its last five matches to top-20 foes, is now 2-6 on the year.

Brady Anderson (Rochester, N.Y.) and first-year
Sebastian Mendoza (Weston, Fla.) recorded a 6-3 win at number two doubles, but the Beavers suffered losses at Nos. 1 and 3. Senior

Alexander Merson (Palisades Park, N.J.) dropped a 7-5 decision to Wilkins and Ben Jorgensen (Palos Verdes, Calif.) at number one, while the Panthers' duo of Aram Izmirian (Englewood, Colo) and Andy Hess (Somis, Calif.) were 6-1 winners over senior
Wesley Zhang (Staten Island, N.Y.) and first-year
Edward Wang (Burr Ridge, Ill.) at number three.
Wang responded with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at number three singles, Zhang posted a 6-1, 6-3 win at number five and Merson recorded a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at number four for Babson. Wilkins was up 6-3, 3-0 at number one before Lepsoe retired, while Mac Caldwell (Denver, Colo.) topped Mendoza 6-4, 6-3 at number six to level the match at 3-3.
The decisive point came at number two singles where Anderson won the first set for the Green and White before Izmirian rallied for a 2-6, 7-5, 6-2 victory for Chapman.
Babson returns to action next Saturday when it hosts Salve Regina at 10:30 a.m.
