• After winning five matches over three days to begin its trip to southern California, the Babson men's tennis team will conclude its visit to the west coast with a pair of matches against nationally-ranked foes on Thursday and Friday.

vs. Chapman: Babson is 0-1 against the Panthers after dropping a 6-3 decision in March 2022.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 18 Babson (10-1) has won five consecutive matches for the second time this season after cruising past Whitman 7-0 on Tuesday night.

Sebastian Mendoza all were victorious in doubles and posted straight-set wins in singles for the Beavers, who have dropped just one point over their last four outings.

Edward Wang is 16-2 overall and 4-1 at number three, Zhang is 5-0 in dual matches and Mendoza (11-6) and Merson (8-5) have both won their last four singles matches.

Ole Lepsoe and Merson are 4-1 at number one doubles, Anderson and Mendoza are 4-1 with four straight wins at number two and the duo of Wang and Zhang is 4-3 overall with three wins at number three.
SCOUTING NORTH CAROLINA WESLEYAN
• The Battling Bishops (5-4) have dropped two of their last three matches after suffering a 6-1 loss to eighth-ranked Bowdoin on Wednesday.
• Luca Kinese and Albert Sitwell were 6-4 winners at number one doubles and Bohdan Zhylchuk recorded a 6-3, 7-6 victory at number three singles for NC Wesleyan, which is now 2-2 this spring against top-25 opponents.
• Knese is 12-5 overall and 4-2 at number one and two singles, Zhylchuk is 9-4 with three wins at number three singles and Diego Segovia is 8-7 overall and 1-2 at number one this spring.
• Knese and Sitwell (9-3) have won five straight matches at number on doubles and the Battling Bishops are 4-4 at number two and 3-5 at number three doubles this spring.
SCOUTING CHAPMAN
• The Panthers (1-6) have dropped their last five matches after suffering a 6-1 loss to No. 2 Chicago on Wednesday afternoon.
• Caleb Wilkins, who is 37th in the ITA Division III singles rankings, is 5-1 this spring at number one singles, while Aram Izmirian has gone 2-3 at number two.
• Wilkins and Ben Jorgenson are 3-3 at number one doubles, while Izmirian and Andy Hess are 2-1 at number three this spring.
STREAKING BEAVERS
• Babson's five-match winning streak includes three victories over nationally-ranked foes in No. 6 Middlebury, No. 32 Salisbury and No. 33 Grinnell.
• The Beavers secured the doubles point and the first three completed singles matches at Nos. 4-6 in the win over the Panthers on the way to earning the highest ranked victory in program history.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• During its current five-match winning streak, the Green and White is unbeaten in fourth, fifth and sixth singles.
• Babson is also a perfect 5-0 at number one and number two doubles.
• Dating back to the start of last season, the Beavers are 7-9 versus top-40 opponents, a mark that includes a pair of wins over top-20 foes this season (No. 6 Middlebury, No. 18 Rensselaer).
