MARSHFIELD, Mass.— Babson College senior Wyatt George (Mount Lebanon, Pa.) was named to the All-New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Third Team when the postseason awards were announced on Thursday afternoon.

George earns his first All-NEHC selection after an outstanding regular season for the Beavers. The senior forward skated in all 25 games and leads the team in scoring with 18 points on eight goals and a career-high 11 assists, while ranking tied for 11th in the NEHC with three power play goals. He scored twice in the season-opening win over No. 11 Plymouth State and collected a career-high three assists in a key conference win over Salve Regina. He also scored three times in a four-game stretch in December and January and tallied a goal and an assist to help the Green and White complete a conference sweep over UMass Boston earlier this month.

A veteran of 97 career games for the Beavers, George has produced 30 goals and 30 assists for 60 points, including 11 power play markers and three game-winners.

Babson (13-10-2, 11-8-1 NEHC) is the third seed in the conference tournament and will host sixth-seeded New England College (10-14-1, 9-10-1 NEHC) in a quarterfinal match-up on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Babson Skating Center.
