SERIES HISTORY
• Babson and Stonehill will match up in a dual meet on Friday for the third consecutive season.
• The Skyhawks took the first meeting between the two programs in 2023 by a score of 133-129, and Babson took last year's meet, 182-97.
• Both of the previous meets were also held in Morse Pool.
LAST MEETING
• Babson won 14 out of 16 events and all 15 competitors helped contribute to a 182-97 win over Stonehill on November 15, 2024 inside Morse Pool.
• Sophomores
Tuana Turhan and
Julia Netishen led the way with five individual victories. Turhan swept the 100 and 200 butterfly events as well as the 200 IM while Netishen captured the 50 and 100 freestyle events. They also teamed up with
Audrey Daniels '25 and junior
Sylvie Racicot to win the 400 medley relay.

Kendall Garvey '25 had a busy night, winning both the 500 and 1000 freestyle events. Classmate
Elina Sung '25 captured both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.

Samantha Gilbert in the 200 freestyle, classmate
Marta Gershanok in the 200 backstroke, and
Emily Tran '25 in the 100 backstroke.
ABOUT THE BABSON WOMEN
• Babson (5-1) won five of the 13 events and finished second in eight races on the way to defeating Clark, 118-87, in a dual meet Saturday afternoon in Worcester, Mass.
• Gilbert had a strong meet for the Beavers, winning the 100 IM and swimming a leg on the winning 200 free relay team. Gershanok captured the 100-backstroke, first-year
Middy Hinckley finished first in the 200 free, and classmate
Leila Evans was the winner of the 1000 free.
• Racicot was the runner-up in a pair of events, the 100 IM and the 500 free, and Turhan took a pair of seconds as well in the 50 free and the 100 breaststroke. Senior
Sophia Sznewajs took second place in the 100 free and third in the 50 free. First-year
Finn Bergquist was also a second-place finisher for the Beavers in the 100 free.
ABOUT THE STONEHILL WOMEN
• Stonehill (1-3) split a tri-meet with Merrimack and Sacred Heart on Sunday in Brockton, Mass., defeating Merrimack 147-140, bug falling to Sacred Heart, 198-95.
• Stonehill capped the victory against Merrimack by winning the 200 freestyle relay, as juniors Grace Idowu and Sherri Danforth and sophomores Chihiro Bringman and Elizabeth Weston edged the Warriors' team by 0.46 seconds.
• Idowu also earned victory in the 50 free and was second in the 100 free. Winning the 100 free was senior Kristy Barry who also came in second in the 200 free. First-year Emma Kawai won the 200 backstroke for the Skyhawks.
SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
• Turhan was named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week when the league announced its first round of weekly honors on Monday.
• The Beaver sophomore came in first four times and added three individual finishes while swimming five different events over Babson's first three meets. She won both the 100 and 200 fly to open the season at Roger Williams on October 18; she also won both the 100 and 200 fly with season-best times and placed second in the 200 IM in a five-team meet at WPI on Friday, and wrapped up the weekend by finishing as the runner-up in both the 50 free and 100 breaststroke on Saturday against Clark.
TOP TIMES
• Hinckley's time of 11:35.90 in the 1000 free at WPI last Friday puts her ninth on Babson's all-time list of top performers.
• Gilbert's time of 1:03.33 in the 100 IM moved her up to fifth on the Babson all-time performers list.

• Babson will be home again next Saturday to host Bentley at 6 p.m. inside Morse Pool.
