SERIES HISTORY
• Babson will be making its second appearance at the Fisher Invitational; a multi-team meet that includes morning preliminaries and evening finals and has included Babson, Eastern Connecticut, Maine Maritime, Rhode Island College, Roger Williams, Saint Joseph (Conn.), UMass Dartmouth and Wheaton.
• The Green and White won last year's men's team title with 875.5 points to edge Roger Williams (865 points), Wheaton (639), and Eastern Connecticut (380.5).
• The Beaver women finished second with 743.5 points, trailing Roger Williams (955.5) and ahead of Wheaton (717) and Eastern Connecticut University (359).
LAST SEASON'S MEN'S MEET

Pat Anutarasoti '25 captured the 100 fly with a season-best time of 49.29 while sophomore
Thomas Ambelang finished first in the 100 backstroke in a season-best 52.74. The two also teamed up with sophomore
Nathan Huynh and senior
Hawken Hammen to finish runner-up in the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:33.16, which was the third-fastest time in program history.
• Babson had strong showings in the distance freestyle as sophomore
Ilaan Garware and junior
Jason Zeliph placed second and fourth in the 1650, respectively. The Green and White were also well-represented in the 200 free with four A finalists, as sophomore
Tommy Hannenian took third, followed by classmate
Liam Maloney in fourth,
Cole Seeger M'25 in sixth, and junior
Chase Stevens in seventh.

Anthony Taslakov had an impressive second-place finish in the 400 IM. The Green and White had four A finalists in the 200 breast, led by sophomore

LAST SEASON'S WOMEN'S MEET
• Sophomore
Tuana Turhan set a new school record in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing second in the A final with a time of 58.25. She also took first place in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:26.30 and teamed with classmates
Julia Netishen and
Samantha Gilbert and junior
Sylvie Racicot for a second-place showing in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:48.72.
• Netishen came in first with a season-best time of 58.45 in the 100 backstroke and was runner-up in the 50 free (24.75). Sophomore
Marta Gershanok recorded the third win for the Beavers with a season-best time of 4:46.98 in the 400 IM.
• Kendall Garvey '25 came in second in the grueling 1650 free, while senior
Vangella Randell was one spot behind her in third.
Maggie Cassily '25 finished second in the 100 back and Gilbert placed third in the 200 breast.
ABOUT THE BABSON MEN
• The Beavers (5-1) are coming off a 186-105 victory over Bentley last Saturday inside Morse pool, knocking off the Falcons for the second year in a row.
• Sophomore
Nehemiah Rhee was a double winner for the Beavers, touching the wall first in the 200 butterfly and later claiming the 100 butterfly by nearly a full second. First-year
Matthias McFarlane won the 100 breaststroke, while Huynh was the runner in the 100 breast before taking first in the 200 breaststroke, ahead of teammates Carrion and first-year
Jason Spears.

Evan Hong touched the wall first in the 100 free and was runner-up in the 50 free, while Taslakov won the 200 free. Iglar took second in the 200 free and third in the 100 free before closing the meet with a first-place finish in the 200 IM.

Phillip Spiridonov finished runner-up in the 200 back. First-year
Hadi AlDayaa came in first on the 3-meter diving board while junior
David Krol won the 1-meter diving event.
ABOUT THE BABSON WOMEN
• The Beavers (5-2-1) are coming off a 140-140 tie against Bentley on Saturday inside Morse Pool, the best finish for Babson against the Falcons since 1999.
• Turhan brought home a pair of first-place finishes and one runner-up showing for the Beavers, winning the 100 and 200 butterfly, followed by a second place in the 200 individual medley. Netishen also had a strong meet for the Beavers with a pair of victories of her own, taking the 100 backstroke and the 100 free.
• Gilbert and Racicot each won an individual race for the Green and White. Gilbert won the 200 free and took second in the 100 fly, while Racicot garnered first place in the 50 free in a career-best time of 24.60 seconds and placed second in the 100 free.

Leila Evans registered impressive finishes in the distance freestyle events; Hinckley placed second in the 1000 free in a season-best time of 11:27.58 while Evans was second in the 500 and third in the 1000. Sznewajs earned second-place points in the 50 free and first-year

NEWMAC WEEKLY HONORS SWEEP
• Babson swept this week's weekly conference honors that were announced on Monday.
• Rhee received NEWMAC Swimmer of the Week, Krol earning Diver of the Week, and the group of Ambelang, McFarlane, Rhee and senior
Zackary Cheung were tabbed as the NEWMAC Men's Relay Team of the Week.
• It's the second time Babson was recognized this season, following Turhan's selection as Women's Swimmer of the Week back on November 3.
TOP TIMES
• The Beavers had several career-best times in the meet against Bentley, posting some top-10 performances in program history.
• Racicot improved her personal best in the 50 free with a 24.60, jumping up to sixth in program history.
• Netishen lowered her top time in the 100 free with a 54.07 and remains seventh while Hinckley dropped nearly nine seconds off her personal best in the 1000 free (11:27.58), which in ninth-fastest in program history, and Hwang's time of 2:15.18 in the 200 backstroke puts her in the top 10.
• McFarlane made his first appearance in the top 10 of the 100 breaststroke with a time of 57.62 which ranks sixth in program history, and Rhee is now seventh in the 100 fly with a time of 51.38.
NEW TEAM MEMBER FOR THE BEAVERS
• Babson welcomed a new member of the team recently when 11-year-old Adam officially signed with the Green and White in a ceremony through a partnership with Team IMPACT.
• Adam was presented with a Babson swimming & diving shirt, shared cupcakes with his new teammates and took part in learning some of the program's traditional games and cheers. He will join his Babson teammates in many activities over the coming months and is looking forward to being on the pool deck during the Beavers' meets.
• Team IMPACT, a national non-profit organization, has developed a unique multiyear program that matches children facing serious illness and disability with college athletic teams across the country. Based on a clinical model, Team IMPACT guides a symbiotic relationship between teams and children focused on socialization, empowerment, and resilience.
LOOKING AHEAD
• After a break for final exams and the holidays, Babson will return to competition with a dual meet against Amherst on January 2 at 5 p.m. inside Morse Pool.
