BABSON PARK, Mass.—Eight different competitors recorded and individual victory as the Babson College men's swimming & diving team defeated Bentley University, 186-105, on Saturday night inside Morse Pool.
With the victory, Babson improves to 5-1 on the year in dual meet competition and has won two straight meets against the Falcons. Bentley is now 3-1 overall on the season.
Sophomore
Nehemiah Rhee (Paramus, N.J.) was a double winner for the Beavers, touching the wall first in the 200 butterfly in a time of 1:55.05 and later claiming the 100 butterfly by nearly a full second with a time of 51.38. First-year
Mattias McFarlane (Trumbull, Conn.) won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 57.62, while sophomore
Nathan Huynh (Naperville, Ill.) was the runner in the 100 breast before taking first in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:14.25 ahead of teammates

Evan Hong (Longmeadow, Mass.) touched the wall first in the 100 free with a time of 46.84 and was the runner-up in the 50 free in a time of 21.77, while junior
Anthony Taslakov (Sherborn, Mass.) won the 200 free with a time of 1:46.09. Sophomore
William Iglar (Marietta, Ga.) took second in the 200 free (1:46.09) and third in the 100 free (48.78) before closing the meet with a first-place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 1:59.92.

Thomas Ambelang (Bernardsville, N.J.) came in first in the 100 back with a time of 52.82 and classmate
Phillip Spiridonov (Ridgewood, N.J.) finished as the runner-up in the 200 back with a time of 2:00.60. McFarlane recorded a second-place showing in the 100 butterfly with a time of 52.34, senior
Zackary Cheung (Monterey Park, Calif.) finished third in the 50 free (22.10) and first-year
Josh Adler (Merrimac, Mass.) added a third-place result with his time of 10:25.54 in the 1000 free.

Hadi AlDayaa (Chelmsford, Mass.) came in first on the 3-meter diving board with a score of 205.10, while junior
David Krol (Grafton, Wis.) won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 259.60 in his season debut.
Ambelang, McFarlane, Rhee and Cheung took first place in the 200 medley relay to begin the meet, while Rhee and Cheung teamed with Taslakov and Hong to end the night with a victory in the 400 free relay for the Beavers.
Babson will wrap up its fall semester schedule next Friday and Saturday when it travels to Wheaton for the Fisher Invitational.
