Emily Flynn (Hanover, Mass.) scored a game-high 18 points to pace four players in double figures as visiting Babson College rolled to a 78-46 win over Curry College in non-conference women's basketball action on Monday night inside Katz Gymnasium.
With the win, Babson improves to 2-0 on the year, while Curry opens the season at 0-1.

Alyssa Hopps (Quincy, Mass.) scored 11 points and grabbed a game-high nine boards, while sophomore
Rylie Rosenberg (New Rochelle, N.Y.) chipped in with eight points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals in the victory.
Senior Lauren Dunn (Hanson, Mass.) scored 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting to lead the Colonels.

Julia St. Laurent (Greenland, N.H.) converted a layup and Flynn knocked down a short jumper to extend the margin to 34-17 with 6:33 to go until halftime.
Curry cut its deficit to 14 on a three-point play by Dunn just over a minute later but Hopps followed with a bucket in the paint and Rosenberg beat the first-half buzzer with a three-pointer from the right wing to send the Beavers into the locker room with a 44-26 edge. Flynn scored the first seven points of the third quarter and Babson ended the stanza with an 11-0 run to push its lead to 64-33.

Molly Donovan (Duxbury, Mass.) combined to score the first eight points, sophomore
Alessa Mendoza (Yonkers, N.Y.) canned a mid-range jumper and Perreault followed a free throw by Reale with her third triple of the contest to give the Green and White its largest lead of the game at 67-33 with 9:42 remaining in the fourth quarter.
The Beavers shot 55.4 percent from the floor and were 7-of-15 (46.7 percent) from three-point range while finishing with a 35-20 edge on the glass and scoring 30 points off 23 Curry turnovers. The Colonels shot 41.9 percent in the loss.
Babson plays its third straight road game on Friday when it travels to Endicott at 6 p.m., while Curry travels to New England College on Thursday at 5 p.m.

• The Beavers are now 13-4 all-time against Curry and Monday's contest was the first between the teams since 1999.
