Women's Soccer Tangles with Clark on Tuesday on Hartwell-Rogers Field

SERIES HISTORY

•    Babson is 20-12-5 all-time against Clark in a series that dates back to 1994.
•    The Beavers have won three of their last four matches against the Cougars although last season's loss snapped a four-match unbeaten streak in the series. 
•    The Green and White has outscored Clark 8-0 over the last two games played at Hartwell-Rogers Field. 
•    Babson has conceded just four goals to the Cougars over the last eight fixtures between the sides going back to 2017. 

LAST MEETING
•    Isabella Ramirez broke a scoreless deadlock in the 52nd minute to help Clark defeat Babson, 1-0, on November 2, 2024, in Worcester, Mass. 
•    The Beavers finished with a 19-4 edge in shots and held a 9-1 advantage in shots on frame in the loss. 
•    Annabella White made nine save for the Cougars, who blanked the Green and White for the first time since 2018.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    Babson (4-1-4, 3-0 NEWMAC) stayed unbeaten in conference play with a 1-0 win at WPI on Saturday afternoon. 
•    First-year Autumn Simon scored her first collegiate goal in the 42nd minute, sophomore Rylie Wesley picked up her first career assists and junior goalkeeper Callahan Cottone made three saves for the Beavers, who were outshot 6-2 by the Engineers over the final 45 minutes. 
•    Junior Josie Lee (3-2-8) has at least one point in three of the last five games, first-year Izzy Lee (2-1-5) leads the squad with two game-winning goals and Simon (1-2-4) is tied for the team lead in assists. 
•    Cottone has started all nine games and boasts a 0.55 goals against average and a .889 save percentage, while senior Cleo Grignard owns a 0.57 goals against average and a .875 save percentage in seven contests for the Green and White, which has conceded just five goals on the year. 

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
•    Clark (4-2-4, 0-1-2 NEWMAC) has lost just once over its last six matches and is coming off a 0-0 draw with Emerson on Saturday afternoon in Worcester. 
•    The Cougars finished with a 14-6 edge in shots Ava Lepro made her only save of the game in the 78th minute of a game that featured just three on target. 
•    Georgia Louis (5-6-15) is third in the league in scoring and has two game-winning goals, Solimar Rivera (5-3-13) and Emma Shaughnessy (4-0-8) have both scored once in NEWMAC play, and Calabria Augustino (2-4-8) has three assists over her last six outings. 
•    The trio of Lepro (0.71 GAA, .714 save percentage), Gabrielle Huryn (1.23, .667) and Saige Frazier (1.30, .700) have each made one start in NEWMAC play while combining for five shutouts on the year. 

FULL POINTS
•    Thanks to 1-0 road wins over Springfield and WPI and a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Coast Guard at Hartwtell-Rogers Field, the Beavers have taken all nine points form their first three conference matches for the first time since 2016. 
•    Babson defeated Mount Holyoke (2-0), Smith (1-0) and WPI (1-0) that season on the way to going 6-3-1 in league play. 
•    The Green and White is looking to win four straight games to begin NEWMAC play for the first time since 2011 when topped Wellesley, Smith, WPI and Clark en route to going unbeaten over its first seven matches (6-0-1). 

SIMON EARNS NEWMAC WEEKLY HONOR
•    Thanks to her 42nd-minute goal at WPI on Saturday, Simon was selected as the league's offensive player of the week on Monday. 
•    She is Beavers' second NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week award recipient of the season joining sophomore Mack Feeney, who was recognized after scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Rowan on September 13. 

FRIENDLY CONFINES
•    Babson is 2-0-3 at Hartwell-Rogers Field this fall and is unbeaten over its last 10 home matches (7-0-3) over the last calendar year. 
•    The Beavers have outscored their foes 18-6 during this stretch while posting six shutouts. 

DOWN TO THE WIRE
•    Each of Babson's nine matches this season have been decided by a single goal or ended in a draw. 
•    Going back to October 13 of last season, 16 of the Beavers' last 18 contests have either ended with the sides separated by a single or deadlocked. 
•    The only two games during this stretch that have been decided by a margin of more than one is the Green and White's 3-1 win over Wheaton in last year's NEWMAC quarterfinals on November 5 and a 4-0 loss at MIT on October 23. 

NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    The Beavers are 3-0-1 this season and 10-0-3 going back to the start of last season when scoring the first goal of the match. 
•    Dating back to 2022, Babson is 24-0-4 when leading at halftime.
•    The Green and White is 10-3-8 over the last two years when conceding one goal or less. 
•    The Beavers have gone into halftime either with the lead or tied in 13 of their last 14 matches going back to late October of last year.
