SERIES HISTORY
• Babson and Wellesley are meeting in a regular season meet for the first time since the Blue defeated the Beavers 178-91 as part of a tri-meet at Springfield on November 14, 2021.
• Wellesley has dominated the head-to-head series between the two programs, winning 12 meets in a row from 2008 to 2021.
• The Blue were picked fifth in this year's New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) preseason poll while the Beavers were voted seventh.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (7-4) is coming off a 153-85 victory at Bridgewater State last Saturday in Bridgewater, Mass.
• The Beavers captured 11 of 13 events, including two wins apiece by sophomore Sylvie Racicot (200 free, 100 free) and first-year Tuana Turhan (200 IM, 100 breast).
• Senior Kendall Garvey broke her own record in the 1650-yard freestyle by 0.15 seconds to finish first with a time of 18:16.15.
• Senior Audrey Daniels came in first in the 50 free, graduate student Anya Pelshaw won the 100 butterfly, senior Emily Tran edged the field in the 100 backstroke, and classmate Sophia Silver touched the wall first in the 500 free. 
• The Green and White also took first place in both relays. First-years Julia Netishen, Turhan and Marta Gershanok and Daniels won the 200 medley relay, while Gershanok, Tran, Garvey and Pelshaw finished off the win in the 200 free relay. 

SCOUTING THE BLUE
• Wellesley (5-6) is back in the pool after an exciting tri-meet last Saturday at Smith, defeating the host Pioneers, 157-139, but falling to Springfield, 148.5-147.5.
• Senior Cecilia Cai won the 200 fly and 200 IM events and finished runner-up in the 100 free, while first-year Grace Hu placed second in both the 100 and 200 fly.
• Junior Emily Richardson touched the wall first for her first collegiate win in the 500 Free and Richadson recorded a second place in the 1000 Free.
• Junior Tracey Liu and first-year Lily Fender went 2-3 in the 100 back, and junior Lara Dashti and senior Maya Hart echoed the 2-3 result in the 100 breast. 

WINNING SEASON
• The Beavers are on their way to just their second winning season in dual meets since 1993-94.
• The seven victories for the Green and White this winter are the most since the 2019-20 squad finished 10-5, the most wins in program history.

BEAVER BITES
• In addition to her program record in the 1,650, Kendall missed the program standard in the 1000 free by less than a second with her split of 10:57.98, just off the time of 10:57.01 by April Kupsky in 2021.
• Sophomore Nicolette Newsome posted a time of 19:15.72 in the 1,650, which puts her sixth on the all-time performers in program history.
• Pelshaw turned in a time of 1:00.44 in the 100 fly, which lists her seventh all-time in program history.

• The Beavers return home for the final dual meet of the season next Saturday, hosting Springfield in the Senior Day meet inside Morse Pool at 11 a.m.
