MIDDLETOWN, Conn.—Senior goalie
Walker White (Coral Gables, Fla.) made seven saves in goal as Babson College finished in a 0-0 draw at Wesleyan University Saturday afternoon in non-conference men's soccer action at Jackson Field.
With the tie, Babson is now 1-0-2 with its second scoreless deadlock this season while Wesleyan moves to 1-0-1 this fall. The Cardinals finished with a 17-5 advantage in total shots, including a 7-4 margin in shots on goal.

Tyler Fidrych (Stonington, Conn.) recorded one each.
Junior Mathis Blanc (Palo Alto, Calif.) made four saves in the Wesleyan goal. Sophomore Yousuf Saeed (Houston, Texas) made a team-high five shots off the Cardinals' bench while senior Lucas Ruehlemann (Waldwick, N.J.) was good for four shots and sophomore Joshwin Jennings (Parsippany, N.J.) managed two attempts.
The Beavers had the only two corner kicks in the first half but the hosts had a 7-1 shot advantage. Lloyd had the lone shot on goal for the Green and White just seven minutes in but was denied by Blanc while White stopped three attempts by the Cardinals.
White made a save on senior Chris Porte (Madison, Conn.) early in the second half to keep the game scoreless, and Jennings and Araujo traded shots in the 57th minute. Fidrych put one on goal in the 68th minute for the Beavers and Walker made a stop on senior Mateo Neighbors (Montclair, N.J.) three minutes later.
Babson returns home to host Gordon at Hartwell-Rogers Field at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Wesleyan opens New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) play on Wednesday at Trinity at 7 p.m.
GAME NOTES
• Babson is 7-6-4 all-time against Wesleyan in a series that dates back to 1980, although Saturday's match was the first between the two schools since 1995.
• The Beavers are unbeaten in their last 10 road games (4-0-6) which includes six straight draws going back to last October.
• White has 14 shutouts since the beginning of last season, 20 for his career, and needs just three more to move into the top five in program history for career clean sheets.
