Joao Araujo (Boca Raton, Fla.) scored his first career goal and graduate student
James Donaldson (Kirkland, Quebec) added an assist for the Beavers. Senior goalkeeper
Walker White (Coral Gables, Fla.) made one save to pick up his third victory of the season.
Sophomore Dylan Thomas (Norwalk, Conn.) had a goal and graduate student Andre Caceres (Ossining, N.Y.) and senior Jack Wildermann (Madison, Conn.) each contributed an assist for the Hawks. Senior goalkeeper Hogan Cain (Nottingham, N.H.) finished with five saves in the loss.
Cain made two early saves before the Green and White took the lead in 29th minute. A Roger Williams defender misplayed Modiano's ball into the box for sophomore
Alexander Yablonovskiy (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) and Cain was forced to chop him down goign to goal setting up Araujo's penalty kick for a 1-0 advantage.
The Hawks answered back 27 seconds later though, as Thomas flicked Caceres' diagonal ball into the box from the right wing over White and inside the near post from 10 yards to make it 1-1. Yablonovskiy's missed just wide of the right post with a powerful header in the 48th minute and senior

Will Lloyd (Lexington, Mass.) only to see the offside flag come up to wipe away the goal in the 70th minute.
Babson's pressure finally paid off when Modiano scored his first career with 15 minutes remaining. After playing the ball out to the right side of the box for Donaldson, Modiano made a run towards goal and drilled the service under the crossbar from the edge of the six-yard box to put the hosts in front for good.
In addition to White's one save, Beavers' graduate student
Marco Cerezo (Malaga, Spain) helped keep the game deadlocked in the 65th minute by clearing away sophomore Dylan Robbins' (Johnston, R.I.) header away from inside the six yard box after it went off of White's hands.
The Beavers finished with a 15-7 edge in shots and attempted six of the seven corner kicks in the match.
Both teams return to action on Saturday as Babson visits No. 22 WPI at 1 p.m., while Roger Williams travels to Western New England at 2:30 p.m.
